Very uplifting audiobook

This book allowed me to get out of my head. I have a big problem procrastinating, never seem to finish things that I start. I definitely recommend this book as it helped me understand the powers of the brain and the subconscious. It also emphasizes the power of gratitude, something that I have not paid a lot of attention to until now.

Change your brain's default setting

Your brain can be your best friend or it can be your worst enemy, depending on how you program it. By thinking negatively, you are programming your brain to the "self-loathing" setting. When you discourage yourself from doing something difficult, even though you know it will be worthwhile, you are programming it. When you scold yourself over the simplest of mistakes or failures, you are programming it. When you tell yourself that you don't deserve good things, you are programming it. What if you could hit the reset button and set your brain to the "self-love" setting? Well, there is no magic insta-fix button, but "Choose Your Thoughts" is an excellent guide that can help you change the way you think to yourself and let your subconscious mind empower you rather than drag you down.

This is a valuable audiobook.

This is a great audiobook. It talks about the power of thoughts and the understanding of how we think. It also talks about positive thinking and different tips and strategies on choosing the thoughts that we want to envision and bring into reality. The only thing that I notice in the narrator is the pronunciation when it comes to the word "Positivity". The word "Positivity" word is not as consistently because in some section of the audiobook, this word sound like "positivulley". Other than that, This is a must listen to audiobook when it comes to changing your negative thoughts and turn into the thoughts that work for you to make your dreams a reality.

"Stand guard at the door of your mind"

I love this audio book so much. The author did a great jo at teaching me how to think positively, compassionately and actively.

It was also interesting to learn that to get a desired outcome, you might need to allow some of those negative thoughts that always fight their way into our minds.

The author was even nice enough to recommend some meditation aps, after guiding me through a session, after which I felt calm and collected.

Finally, I learned the true importance of gratitude, the science behind it's effects on us and how to practice it in a realistic way.

I strongly recommend this audio book
