Publisher's summary

Contains books nine and ten of Condemning the Heavens.

A Deity Once Dreamt, Book 9

In the continent of Chang'an, humans had lived as livestock and slaves to the Primordial Beasts. These beasts were ferocious, bloodthirsty and overwhelmingly powerful, but even so, the humans managed to prevail in the face of despair.

As the human race grew stronger, the Primordial Beasts fought back with relentless fierceness, rousing beast hordes to engage in frenzied battles over the land.

Every single child on the continent was taught martial arts for the sake of fighting these Primordial Beasts, yet many of them were sent straight to their death.

In this world filled with constant battle, a young boy was born. This young boy was hoping to become the most outstanding cultivator, but who would have thought that his talent was so poor that he could not even cultivate?

As the boy was filled with despair over his unfortunate situation, a life-changing event occurred which would forever leave a scar in his mind, pushing him to transcend his limits and grow to become a legend.

Ghost Realm, Book 10

Losing someone important left a deep scar in Lan’s heart, prompting him to search for the key to enter the Ghost Realm for thousands of years. As the key, Xue Wei entered this unknown realm alongside the deity and encountered a world, unlike the one he knew.

In the living world, death was not horrible, as even a dead plant would enter the circle of life and become something else, however, the Ghost Realm was devoid of life, and only souls would roam about. Their way of living was different from everything he was used to, and soon this strange new world expanded his horizons.

They entered the Ghost Realm with the intention of locating and retrieving Lan’s sweetheart, but what they found reversed their entire understanding of the past and the future. Many questions appeared, but the answers kept eluding them.

Return of our Legend! Thank You 💖

I'm so thrilled that you've returned to Condemning the Heaven's after filling behind with Blue Phoenix. You even have two more series trotting out. However, please keep the wonder and delights of this series going soon and for a long time. Thier stories are a treasure that strengthens determination for all, all while entertaining and bringing forth the enlightened thoughtfulness that is missing in our everyday lives.

As an aside, what happened to looking up all the leveled unlocks of his heritage ring? Not counting those he lost while he did not have possession of it, he's lost many, many ranks both in Pub Pack 4 &5, and the last revealed only had 3 skills. It's something fun I think many of us look forward to. I'm still waiting to see if he'll think to try blood on it as you would for a storage ring. Back when he got it he used energy, and only qi. What would blood or higher energy do? He thinks he can't retrieve what skills he doesn't open (and sometimes his rise or circumstance meant he missed an opportunity), but now he's 1st level King ranked. Would a spiritual body change that? How about as a God? How can he be a God, let alone his special circumstances, without a full knowledge?

Then there's the Azure Dragon Cultivation Method. He's supposed to mainly be an azure dragon, but now he has 3 of 4 bloodlines awakened. Will his human half need anything? Was his father really full human? What of the fae and other non-beast or human races original to the world? Is he to be truly fully of all and will he need an upgrade to his methods and skills and innate abilities? Will we get to experience his plethora of differences more than once or as a back-of-the-mind kind of knowledge? Will we follow not just the struggle for the fast but sure rises in power, but his personal work on integration and apithany? Blue Phoenix was terrific, but many more books could've lived. Once that character left the world it was an arrow to finish. Maybe to get back to here and the others, but please don't forget we all need these fun story progression things, especially in a cultivation novel. I can't wait!

I loved it and can't wait for the next one!!!

I had been waiting for this one for a year or so and the wait was truly well worth it.
I'll be keeping it spoiler free. I was as always impressed by the amazing world building of Tinalynge, it's simply on a different level than most. I loved seeing a familiar character show up as well. There where some stuff I sure didn't see coming which was awesome. I really enjoyed getting to know Yue Wee's new companion better as I had been curious about him for a long time. The plot flowed smoothly and it's a really interesting ending. Can't wait for the next publishers pack.

great book

the story is fine just too much info not needed. what I mean is the book is more on inside thinking instead of the story line itself kind of annoying

I enjoyed the book, wish it would have been longer and liked how it was tied into other story lines. Scott as always does a fantastic job with narration!

Base story good with to many errors.

Two books ago the author said the place they were on had 1 person at a certain strength but now their is another one. This author forgets a lot of stuff in previous books. I will say the author created Decent Story but with more contradicting errors than all the books I have read and listening to.

book 9 repetitive book 10 lack luster

I feel like the story has fallen short in book 9 author ran out of things to say and kept repeating same idea as much as 3 times in the same chapter, how many times are the characters going to know each other and the thoughts of civs so well that they snear and no need for dialogue. I also feel like the author realized they made too many cultivation levels without really explaining the strength of Mc home continent. if they are so weak compared to the center why are they still training. Mc doesn't explore his beast side at all or the powers that come with it. if azure dragon was the best bloodline what is the point of the rest does it literally just come down to chi type...

you really don't care to find your parents at all... I'm still mad he forgot his entire conversation with lan and spent two books finding the same answers over again. idk re read entire series to be up to date and honestly started to lose interest at the academy

ugh what a struggle just to finish

the series started interesting, but every fucking book is the same, they get stronger, and in the next book everybody they meet is also stronger.
dont even get me started on the repeating of the same fucking proverbs i get it there are fucking frogs in the well and kites fly when their strings are cutt. does that have to be used every time .

the mc is such a wonderfull heaven sent genius, every other character exist for him amd him alone. everybody is always jealous when they meet him amd he always know what the other is thinking.
Really? i have the feeling the author got horny for her/his own mc.

i finished this series sofar and just for that you have my compliments. but damn do i hate it now.
