Publisher's summary

Everybody hates meetings. And why shouldn't they? Most meetings are poorly led, counterproductive, and time-wasting. Based on decades of practice and research, best-selling authors Weisbord and Janoff have come to the conclusion that most people lead meetings incorrectly. They, instead, propose 10 contrarian principles that actually get things done.

Sound theory yet highly practical

It is uncommon to find a book with sound, relevant, theory base, along side concrete practices to try out as you progress through the book.
This book provides both, in an increasing scale of maturity. Take this book to practice, and your meetings will change forever.
The narration was disappointing. The few parts that were story-like were excellent. But for most of the book the narration was robot-like. Also, the transition between chapters was too quick for me. My uneducated guess is that Ms. Patrick is a great story narrator, with modest experience in reference books at the time of this recording. But I may be just projecting on to her something in me (and do read/listen to the book to get this last pun).
