About this listen

The team has done everything right. They have killed off all of Adhava’s kids and in doing so denied her reinforcements, but now she has fled into a dungeon.

Adrian and his team need to hunt her down; track her, find her and then destroy her in an environment she knows, controls and has had time to prepare to kill interlopers. It is not an exercise, as Training Facilities in the Alpha Physic framework have the real chance of death, and with Adhava trying to ambush them at every moment, it is going to be a tough fight.

With discipline and luck, they might pull through, and if they do, the reward is a free Albury and a heap of experience that will position Adrian and the team to make the trip to Melbourne. If they fail…there will be no second chances.

Dungeon is the fifth and penultimate novel in the six-book Alpha Physics series.

Best book in the series so far!

This book is a great sequel to the fourth book. Only negative is it seems like the voice changes a few times seemingly mid sentence. Not bad just a little distracting.

Better...ish.

Major spoilers ahead....

So to start off this review I'd like to first say how much I hated that a whole book was dedicated to killing one family and it still didn't get finished in that book. I wish half this book didn't involve the crime family. I surprisingly enjoyed the dungeon part though. Adrian is still a whiney baby of a man but he is getting betterish. My least favorite part is probably that Adrian almost dies AGAIN and lost more than ever. How is Adrian going to function without his dog trainer? I happen to count his interfere as a main character that should have just as much plot armor as Adrian if not more. Like, if the system takes away his interface he is basically crippled. I'm not sure why every book must include a major nerf of Adrian. I'm also pretty upset about half his team abandoning him not even half way through his journey. I don't think core main characters should die or leave... close call sure but not death or abandonment. Toughen up Adrian because without your dog trainer you are at least 50%more trash. Also, stop dying... like that should be so obvious.

The reason why I latched onto this series is back!

Ohhhh my gods. This book was soooooooo much better than the last one I read in the series. As Alex Kozlowski added all fun back into this series. And the reason why I latched onto the Adventure in the first place... I wish I had saved some of the many great quotes buried in this book! And believe they're there!
I love Dungeon diving. It marked the end of the Albury saga and the final mob boss. So Adrian with what's left of his crew from Wagga along with additional resistance members from Albury volunteer to continue the trip to Melbourne!

Highly entertaining

This was really good. I’ve been sick and tired of the dungeon trope lately , but this one pulled it off in a fresh wonderful way and I really really enjoyed it.

Review

Overall I really enjoyed this series as a hold. The narrator is great as usual. I think they spend a little bit too much time in the dungeon. I’m guessing I’m in the minority when it comes to that part of the audiobook. Overall the fun series
