Love the characters in this series. Nora and Jamie so deserved this story. As always cannot wait until the next in the series.

Loved everything but the weird switches in accent and voices for Jamie. So odd it was distracting. Story was great. Love the series. My brain has to work hard to remember who is who in this clique. I need a chart 😂 Have loved Nora from her start in this series. She is quite the character. Enjoyed this greatly.

The reason I purchased this book is because of the characters: Nora Ellington and Jamie Oakley. I haven’t been wild about this series and have mostly purchased the books in support of the author. However, I really have a soft spot for these two, who have been some of the most likable characters of the series.
The most memorable -most impactful- part of the story for me was Jamie’s evaluation of Felice’s actions and attitudes when talking to Nora after the family lunch. Major insights!
The narration was very iffy. Crusher’s (!) Nora worked, but not too many of her other voices.
Marceaux ok on Jamie, but I had a really hard time differentiating his other voices.

First I did enjoy the book. Narrators did a great job! I wish there was more of the love story of the two main characters and less of the secondary. In her older books I loved how the interaction of secondary characters really helped shape and build into the personality of the characters, now it just seems like extra dialogue. This is still a four star book for me , but it’s a book I didn’t get hooked into like some of her older books and will probably only read once. It missed the angst her male characters go through to get their HEA with our heroine and her growing and becoming the woman me as the reader get proud of and love.

This is quite possibly my new favorite book! It has it all including a yacht! Conspicuous consumption at its finest! I want to be Nora! Brava Kit! And thanks for pointing out the social justice warrior pitfalls. Jamie’s remarks on that topic were well put. That should be a bumper sticker!!

I’m absolutely in love with everything I read by KA I think she could write a menu and I would love it. But thankfully her stories are much better then a menu we get to relate to the characters (except being rich lol) but her writing just keeps you engaged throughout the book
