Publisher's summary

From internationally best-selling author Harlan Coben comes this third action-packed installment of his best-selling young adult series.

It's been eight months since Mickey Bolitar witnessed the shocking, tragic death of his father. Eight months of lies, dark secrets, and unanswered questions. While he desperately wants answers, Mickey's sophomore year of high school brings on a whole new set of troubles. Spoon is in the hospital, Rachel won't tell him where he stands, his basketball teammates hate him...and then there's Ema's surprise announcement: She has an online boyfriend, and he's vanished.

As he’s searching for Ema's missing boyfriend (who may not even exist!), Mickey also gets roped into helping his nemesis, Troy Taylor, with a big problem. All the while, Mickey and his friends are pulled deeper into the mysteries surrounding the Abeona Shelter, risking their lives to find the answers - until the shocking climax, where Mickey finally comes face-to-face with the truth about his father.

Amazing!!!

We at least need a branch off series. We need to know more about Spoon, Eema and Rachel - see Troy get taken down. There’s so much more left to cover!

So good and a twist you will never see coming!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Every character is so interesting that it's hard to pick one.

What about Nick Podehl’s performance did you like?

Every character had a distinct voice. It was very easy to follow along with the dialog with out having to be told who was speaking. The excitment in his reading was palpable.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I didnt just want to listen to it in one setting, I did. This was such a great third book in the series.

Any additional comments?

I really hope that this isn't the last book in this series because I have a lot of questions and there are so many things that I am looking forward to. I am sitting with a smile on my face because I totally didn't see "IT" coming and I love that in a book but bummed beyond belief that I'm done with available books. Please tell me there will be more and soon! I am hooked for life!

Great Nattation; entertaining Story

I enjoyed this series, even though it really involved high school kids. I would like to see more in this series.

The story is a little exaggerated when you cosider this is a high school kid who accomplishes much more than the adults are able to do. I do like the characters, particularly "spoon". Myron Bolitar (the uncle) is a carry-over from the books about him as a sports agent (I have been through all of them and really like them, better than this series). I think he could have a little bigger role. The plot of rescuing children in need of assistance is a little weak and the surrounding story could be more detailed for my taste. However, all in all, I would recommend the book. It would be particularly well-suited for young adults.

Wow

This is the third book, grabs you and doesn’t let go, just like the first two. Even though it’s about teen friends, it’s a good mystery. I hope there’s a follow up.
