About this listen

Through good times, bad times, and times of war, Cole “Rush” Allen grew up in the Chaos Motorcycle Club. Along this journey, he watched his father, Tack, and his MC brothers fight, sweat, bleed, and die to steer the club to legitimacy. And they’ve got one more battle on their hands. A battle they have to win.

But when Rush meets the woman who put herself right in the thick of it, he knows he has to stop at nothing to get her out.

Rebel Stapleton has lost someone she loves to murder, and she’s the kind of woman who’s going to do something about it. She puts her career on the line, and her life, to bring the man who did it to justice.

That is, she does this until Rush Allen intervenes.

Chaos is at war, and they’re about to face the ultimate showdown. They’ll have to negotiate skeletons from the past, enemies becoming allies, and loved ones in the line of fire on their ride to be...free.

A great summary !

I loved this book! The story line continued to intertwine all of the characters. You feel like you have spent so much time with each of them.
I knew I would love Rush, and I did. I’m glad his story was a good one. I felt good about the ending and can’t wait to read it again.

Judge for Yourself; but personally, I Loved It!

I absolutely loved this finale to the Chaos series. I have read a lot of reviews where people did not like it. They complained about the constant jumping around, introduction into some BDSM stuff (The Honey Series), not enough Rush and Rebel and too many other people being brought in. My opinion is; listen to the book and judge for yourself. Don’t make a judgment call based on others opinions if you’ve already invested yourself in this entire series. Yes, there is a lot of jumping around but there has to be in order for you to get the full story and know where everyone is at, what they are doing and why. I don’t see how this book could wrap up the entire series and everything going on in the club if it only focused on Rush and Rebel and didn’t dive deep on everything else.

Heads up, I don’t think this book can be read as a standalone. Not if you want to be familiar with all the players in it. The amount of POV’s and other characters will leave anyone who hasn’t read all the previous series KA has written, lost and confused. This book has an all-star cast from prior series in Dream Man, Rock Chick, Unfinished Hero’s. Honey and some others she has. Personally, I was not interested in The Honey Series only because I prefer male Master’s and wasn’t into the female being the Domme, but I did listen to the series a while ago and I was glad I did. That series introduces you to some big players in this book, especially Rebel’s brother Diesel. I also recommend listening to More Than Everything, a short novella in Loose Ends, which is on Diesel, Maddox and Molly. Absolutely adored those 3 and their story.

There were many tense, emotional moments and many laugh out loud moments. I have always loved how kind and sweet and funny the Chaos men can be when they don't have to be tough. I don’t want to give anything away, but just give it a listen. You may have to rewind a few times to make sure you are following along (like I did), but it was well worth it (in my opinion).

I absolutely adored Cole 'Rush' Allen when I met him in Motorcycle Man and he grew up to be every bit as sexy, protective, possessive and sweet as his dad. Rebel was the bomb. She was smart, sexy, loving, loyal and protective. They were the perfect match.

It wasn't easy saying goodbye to the Chaos crew. These characters stole a piece of my heart when I met Tack in Mystery Man and hasn't let up since. With each new book and new characters I only fell deeper into the world of Chaos. This book was the perfect ending to the series and was a great way to say goodbye. I hope we get more glimpses of them in possible future books.

As far as narration, I have always enjoyed Kate Russell and I thought she did a stellar job with all the different characters and emotions she had to portray.

The End

Great ending to a wonderful series! I'm so sad to say goodbye to Chaos but I'm hoping that we'll see these characters again since KA loves to do so many cameos.

So, this was a good way to wrap up the series and bring back all the characters and give us a peak at all the story lines that have been left open along the way and clear them up. We also got cameos from previous books and series, that is always a joy. Rush finally gets his woman and what a woman she is. Rebel is sassy and, of course, a red head who has a big heart and thinks she has to take care of the world. She has become a CI after her best friend is murdered and now is a producer/director of porn for an enemy of Chaos. Now when women are turning up dead Chaos, with Rush in the lead, steer Rebel out of town for a meet to let her know she is not safe. Soon these two are exploring all that chemistry. Definitely not a standalone and I would recommend you read the rest of the series before this one just to keep all the characters straight.

Another great by Ashley

I absolutely love Chaos! As to the reviews complaining that this is just a rewrite of Motorcycle Man, this is about Rush who is Tack’s son but it is it’s own worthy read.

J. C.

Just didn’t like the Lords name (J. C.) being used as a cuss word. Please rethink this. Thank you.
