About this listen

Grow Up: A Man's Guide to Masculine Emotional Intelligence appeals to men who want more out of life and their partners who often are the ones to encourage them to change. The book comes out of years of working with men and developing free men's groups. The recently released film About Men documents the power of one of these groups.

Would you consider the audio edition of Grow Up to be better than the print version?

Yes definitely, listening to this was both motivating and mind refreshing

What other book might you compare Grow Up to and why?

This is really in a class of it own,I would not compare thi book to any other.Just my opinion.

Have you listened to any of Adam Lofbomm’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes.This is just one of his great works.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

The main concept that one should learn how to let go of childish things and the nature that we received fromour mother, mainly that as a man you should not try to turn your partner into your mother.

Any additional comments?

Awesome book. One of the best I have listened to!!!!!

This is truly a great guide

Would you listen to Grow Up again? Why?

I will be listing many times, especially the next to last chapter

What did you like best about this story?

Men need to know this, you won't get this kind of enlightenment in school

What about Adam Lofbomm’s performance did you like?

Good tone and very pleasant to listen to

What did you learn from Grow Up that you would use in your daily life?

To many to list right now, need to back though again so I can take notes this time. Was a great audio book for my latest roadtrip!

Great Read if you are trying to understand you!

Would you try another book from Owen Marcus and/or Adam Lofbomm?

Probably not, there are many books like this out there. He was among them.

Has Grow Up turned you off from other books in this genre?

Kind of, I expected a practical plan, and it kind of did that, but haven't really opened my eyes as much as I hoped it would. It basically states the obvious, only the surface info. If I picked up No More Mr. Nice Guy instead, I feel that it would've been better.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I like that it explains why so many men struggle to get what they want and how to present their masculine energy, but all of it is just stating the obvious. It revolves around anecdotes which have practically nothing to do with me. I feel like NMMNG would've explained it better.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Probably, but there are no movies out there like this.

Interesting concept, failure to deliver

I must say that we as men need the fellowship and company of remarkable men. This book shares valuable insights.

A must have for every lost man

I found the language and approach to be so judgmental. I couldn’t finish this book and I’ve felt like I wasted my money buying it.

Judgemental
