A hot, grumpy, single dad romance? Yep, I'm so there. All of the FEELS with this one! I absolutely LOVED it - the witty snark, the steam, and the emotions they experienced. A wonderful, uplifting read about moving forward, letting go of the past and being loved so completely it takes your breath away. The push and pull, and back and forth between Willa and Cade is OFF THE CHARTS. Heartfelt, funny, sexy, and hella swoony. I laughed so hard at the text messages between them and their family. This is truly a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read!!

Vanessa Edwin & Stephen Dexter do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions, attitude and personality. They do more than giving their characters their voices, they fall into the roles and become the character.

This book was amazing. The slow burn, small town romance I didn’t know I needed. Willa and Cade’s romance was everything I needed and the narrators did an excellent job of bringing them to life.

I loved this book! Single dad, age gap, babysitter, close proximity, cowboy - what’s not to love? I really liked Willa’s personality. She worked the grumpy right out of Cade! This book was fun, sweet, and hot! It’s my favorite of the series so far.

A tiny bit of a missed opportunity imo.. I wish the book would have included a few more rodeo events for Cade and perhaps a scene or two with Willa’s parents. Either way, I can’t wait to read the next book, so I’m off to do that!

The last book had narration issues for me, but this book hit the mark. The narration was excellent.

A nanny trope is something I didn't know I needed in my life! The Chesnut Springs books just keep getting better and better and I am here for it! I love the sass energy Willa has and the grumpy man vibes Cade gives off. I listened to this book in a day. It was such a great listen!

This is one of my top reads for the whole year of 2023 and it's only May. Not only was single dad super grumpy, but he's hot af and the FMC was sunshine compared to him, but the kid was super cute but NOT the matchmaking component which I really appreciated.

Cade/Wilson

I absolutely adored this book. I'm not sure how the next books will go, but this one will definitely be one of, if not *the*, favorite of mine in this series.

Cade and Willa were everything. They were so great together. Cade had so much responsibility on himself and couldn't relax. Willa was the perfect person to get him to open up and realize that he didn't have to carry so much weight all the time.

I loved how great Willa was with Luke and how the two of them grew to love each other so much. Then there was the growing connection between Willa and Cade. I was happy screaming when Cade finally let himself give in to how he was feeling for her.

I was glad to see a little bit more from Winter in this book. I am really curious about what is going to happen in her story. I really like Jasper's character so I am excited that his book is next.

Vanessa Edwin is absolutely AMAZING at portraying the character's emotions in her performance. She is wonderful to listen to and makes you forget you're listening to a book. Stephen Dexter also did an amazing job in his performance. This was a great narrator pairing for this book.
