Having listened to the first series by another narrator I got used to the spells and names being pronounced a certain way and it still bugs me sometimes that this narrator didn't coordinate with the other one, and that sometimes you can't differentiate between the different characters (particularly the female ones) but the story is amazing and although this anthology has more politics and intrigue - the fantasy of it all is held well and interestingly attaches and entrenches.

If book 2 wasn't in Audible Plus, I would have never listened to it as book 1 was just okay. Book 2 brought you deeper into the universe of the "Fury of a Rising Dragon" universe. You also got a deeper look at the primary characters. It's not great, but it's a good solid read with some entertainment. The characters are developing well and the storyline is moving along. Overall, it's a bit on the kid's storybook side with good and bad easily defined and events moving to make sure you learn a lesson about how being good means you will succeed when you give it your all! This doesn't make it bad, just a little bit predictable. I'll look for book 3 to join Audible Plus or go on a $5 sale, but I'm of to other books for now.

A thrilling book from beginning to end in the life of Augum Stone. I would recommend it to anyone. it is a book that anyone can relate to.

Finally got to see the trio in their element and the author shines in fast paced battle storytelling. Although the big mystery was kinda easy to figure out.
