Extremely valuable insight for anyone in corporate

Although the narrator at first feels a little...dry...and makes you immediately think the content is outdated, the material is the most valuable insight I have ever come across in a book. I highly recommend this to anyone that works in corporate, especially for those just starting out. A lot of amazing points that will help navigate the corporate world strategically and understand why it’s so political. I wish I listened to it 10 years ago! I will keep re-reading/re-listening because there’s so much good content to absorb - I don’t want to miss anything!

I wanted this to be better.

In theory, all of the concepts discussed in this book are good to know. Unfortunately, the weakness of the book is outlined in the first section, when the author clearly states he did not organize this book into a system or logical order of reference. As a result, the book kinda goes everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Because there is not a throughline or consistent methodology behind the logic or concepts discussed in the book, it all feels very scattershot.
