Good reminders throughout

I was asked to read this book before attending a conference. There were a number of good pieces of advice. It could be very helpful for someone who feels nervous entering a group setting. The book is presented through a series of stories and interactions. Many are quite enjoyable.

It felt repetitive at times and could be condensed without losing much of the message. After a few chapters I just skipped through to the end for the “reminders.”

Good book poor narration

This book has very good advice, but the author does not narrate the book very well. I found it hard to listen to for long periods of time. It might have been better to get a professional voice actor to read the book.

Decent book

This book was recommended by the author of BEGINNING NEUROFEEDBACK IN YOUR PRACTICE. I’m not sure how much it has to do with Neurofeedback, but it gave some positive common-sense advice. Nothing super ground-breaking. At times, the author gets very passionate about her stories- almost as if she is reliving them.

So so

The book started off good, but then the further through I got the less value I was getting out of it. I found the author easy to listen to, just the content wasn't that great. I felt the book could be shorter and then would provide better value for listening time.

Great Information

Some of the words cut in and out as if the clips were put together to overlap.
It makes sense the way working a room is described as a lifestyle. The tips and stories in the book bring me hope.

Get out and mingle! Great book

I heard Susan interviewed on a show and was fascinated by her information and immediately purchased the audio version of her book. Not only is it filled with tremendous tips for 'working a room' but it has nuggets of great life tips and this is a must read for everyone and especially those entering the workforce.

The updated version is timely and has ideas for various online social networks and to paraphrase, there is nothing like getting out and mingling.

Good information

Lots of review of manners and common sense, which seems less common these days. It was worth the price to me. I bookmarked several places that I will go back to and re-listen to.
