About this listen

Carter isn't sure what to call his two alien protectors. Friends? Boyfriends? Mates?

Or merely indiscriminate lovers with sexy purrs and tangling tails?

He would be lost without them, he knows that. When their home is invaded by a dangerous new kind of alien slaver, they strike out into the jungle. He depends on them for food, protection, a direction to walk in. He's helpless even for shelter and warmth.

Thankfully, his alien lovers seem devoted, but why? Carter wishes he knew their names or anything else. Like whether the attachment he's feeling is returned.

With aliens, you can't make assumptions.

Wouldn't it be nice if he could just ask?

Contains mature themes.

Book to the first one. The world building is good and I loved each character. The narrators performance is really good.

Good follow up

This is a solid piece of science fiction writing. Good plot development and excellent sequel to the first book. The narrator does a great job with the different voices. Well done. I’ll be listening to this series again.

Great story

This whole series is Great, and addictive. I've listened and read this series many times. The narrator is one of the best in my opinion. He did an excellent job of bringing it all to life. This authors writing is awesome. She has done such an amazing job creating the world, the plot flow, and I deeply love ALL the characters especially Carter. He makes me laugh. She did such a good job of inserting humor in these books. Please give us Book 4.

Must Read the Whole Series

I absolutely loved book one, it was such an adventure that was easy to follow along and had it's cute, sad and funny moments.

Book 2 is much the same as the storyline carries on, though with more heart tugging moments. I loveeeeee long books and so I absolutely loved this one.

My only dislike was that sometimes the author went into too much detail. I know it's very important for world building, especially for a series as impressive as this one, but there were some scenes and chapters I had to skip forward because there was too much filling info that made the storyline pause to make room for it.

That was my only comment, beyond that I was very pleased and I'm already downloading book 3!

It just keeps getting better!!!!!

This is the Gordon Ramsay of food and Jessica Préalpato of pastries. Wrap in platinum tethered material. Topped with an intricately woven diamond studded silk bow.

Think Harry Potter meets a mesh of Star Trek, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Invaders with an added boom of LGBTQ romance. If you're going to read one. I would advised to read all three. And read them back to back and in order.

Killer books!!!
Pun not intended, but apt

New meaning for OMG... Oversized Male Groins

I found this series because of Joel Leslie & his incredible voice acting skills, but I stayed for each book after that because the content is so much more involved than the titles suggest. I highly recommend them!

So much better than I expected!

To explain the title a little, after having listened to several MPreg M/M stories, I have pretty much determined that I am not a fan of the genre. As a reviewer on another book has observed, they tend to be M/F romance stories with the female gender (but not attitudes and "frailties") swapped to a (feminine) male. However, this series, being placed on a SciFi theme, intrigued me enough to chance it (I like SciFi ;-) , and I am glad that I did. I also liked that the "story" had some meat to it (no pun intended) in that there actually was one separate from the "romance" part of it.

Another saving grace for it was that the MPreg part, although strongly hinted at, did not manifest itself (at least so far). I am really hoping that, if this series continues, it never does as while I can suspend disbelief on a couple of fronts (e.g., Space, ETs, tech, etc.), I would find it extremely difficult to believe that all parties are biologically compatible. So please Ms. Glass, do not go there. The *expectation* that it might be possible is fine for Seil and his people to have, but if you somehow make it biologically possible for a human male to give birth on that world, you will loose a fan.

This now brings me to the one, sort of, negative comment that I have, that being the narration. My first introduction to Mr. Leslie was a story that involved a man learning that he was accidentally switched at birth and the family that he was raised with was, well unloving, is about as kind a summary that I can make. In such a story, a narrator who's voice contained a slight tremor, as though he might break down a cry at any moment, was appropriate, if a little tiring and annoying after several hours. However after listening to several other books narrated by him, I have come to the conclusion that this is an ingrained quality of his voice, and one that I unfortunately really do not care for. While I will not dismiss a book read by him solely on that basis, I will think twice about purchasing one that he narrates. So I was tempted to pass this one over, but the storyline intrigued me. That being said, I have to admit that he did a fairly good job here, either that or I am now becoming more numb to those qualities that annoyed me earlier ;-) So, Mr. Leslie, I really do like the timber of your voice and I think, in general, you do a good job at different character voices but, if you could loose that trembling, almost going to cry, aspect you would have a solid fan.

Surprisingly Enjoyable

Second in the series and I just can't get enough. This book is better that the first. Pykh, Siel, and Carter have escaped the giant master bug aliens, but now they are on a perilous journey thorough the planets jungle, and communication is still a challenge for our guys. The only one who has an inkling of where to travel to is Siel, and even he is uncertain of his native tribes movements, location and reaction to his companions.
As they travel, the bond between the them strengthens, and each of them reveals new talents that help the trio as a whole to manage to stay alive, and thrive in the unknown.
This author imo is just terrific, the world building and relationship building is slow, gradual and gripping. I was so hooked I found it hard to stop to go to work. There is humor, and love, tenderness and sex, action and adventure all in the world of m/m/m sci-fi with each of the POV featured. I loved this format, because even with the huge communication/language barrier you got to know each and what they were thinking.
Carter is a human from earth colonies, Ceil and Pykh are SUPER sexy cat men from this planet, but both with vastly different POV in how they see things.
Loved this book, and can't wait for the next one. They are best read/listened to in order.
Joel Leslie, what can I say, his narration is BRILLIANT. He made these characters come alive. Each voice distinct and vibrant.

Better than the 1st. Sci-fi alien romance.

I loved this series when I read it on Kindle, but Joel Leslie’s performance takes a cute action adventure series and amps it up to 11. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Even better on Audible
