About this listen

Rhodes and Iliana couldn't be more different, but that's not why they hate each other.

Rhodes, a gifted artist, has always excelled at Alabama's Conservatory of the Arts (until she's hit with a secret bout of creator's block), while Iliana, a transfer student, tries to outshine everyone with her intense, competitive work ethic. Since only one of them can get the coveted Capstone scholarship, the competition between them is fierce.

They both escape the pressure on a fanfic site where they are unknowingly collaborating on a webcomic. And despite being worst enemies in real life, their anonymous online identities I-Kissed-Alice and Curious-in-Cheshire are starting to like each other...a lot. When the truth comes out, will they destroy each other's future?

good story great narration

this is a great enemies to lovers but I honestly couldn't stand Iliana. I loved the narration for both characters but from beginning to end Iliana just irritated me and I didn't think she deserved Rhodes.

Love both Narrators

Story was great. The collaboration of JV and LP was amazing. LP is always so awesome at all her reads, but this is the first JV I have heard. JV definitely evokes emotion with her tone and timing. 5 STARS for all 3 women.

A Long Day’s Journey into Love

This is a strange book. About 20% of it consists of text messages. 70% is baleful internal monologue. The Main characters, Rhodes and Illiona, are struggling art students suffering from artists’ block s as they compete for a distinguished art prize. Both are afflicted with demons created by their parents and socioeconomic situation. The Problem With the Book is that forward progress towards Love or relationship is glacial. The looming internal monologues are mostly bitter. The only happy moment occurs On the Last page. This is a slog that wasn’t worth it.
