About this listen

From a number one New York Times best-selling author comes a sizzling, sweepingly romantic story filled with dangerous secrets, evil twins, and powerful magic.

One sister.

Two sinful princes.

Infinite deception with a side of revenge.... Welcome to Hell.

After selling her soul to become queen of the Wicked, Emilia travels to the Seven Circles with the enigmatic prince of Wrath, where she's introduced to a seductive world of vice.

She vows to do whatever it takes to avenge her beloved sister, Vittoria...even if that means accepting the hand of the prince of Pride, the king of demons.

The first rule in the court of the Wicked? Trust no one. With back-stabbing princes, luxurious palaces, mysterious party invitations, and conflicting clues about who really killed her twin, Emilia finds herself more alone than ever before. Can she even trust Wrath, her onetime ally in the mortal world...or is he keeping dangerous secrets about his true nature?

Emilia will be tested in every way as she seeks a series of magical objects that will unlock the clues of her past and the answers she craves....

Wow… Read or Listen Immediately. Incredibly well written and produced for print/audio - blew it out of the park.

This series by Kerri Maniscalco it just… *chef’s kiss* - the world building, character arch for Emilia, and writing style is just riveting. I love how she paints the world and word phrasing to describe both simple and complex scenes. The slow burn throughout was well done without longing and waiting for the next moment but not just instant gratification like we think we want. Marisa Calin did an EXCELLENT job narrating for audible and I was incredibly impressed and pleased but the performance. The editing and production style of extra work with perfect but not overly frequent music or voice echo to dramatize an important moment added to the heart thumping anticipation and suspense. Overall the team that worked on both the written and narrated work blew it out of the park. I wish I could re read this again for the first time and will definitely be anxiously waiting the next book.

Yes!!!

You know what I really enjoyed it. The story didn’t move too far, but it shoved us more time with Emilia and Wrath.
I still have many questions, now probably even more than before. Ugh… now waiting for the next book, I guess.. Hopefully last in the series! I can’t wait to find out what happens next!!!!

Fantastic !!!!

I loved it! Book two is so adventurously enchanting. The Hell Realm is described in such a way it had me longing for that dark world and it’s mystery. The first book I felt was a bit slow. I actually don’t feel that way anymore. Reading the second book left me with a deeper appreciation of the first. Book three can’t get here fast enough!
The narrator is a wonderful fit for the energy of this story.

Wow

I thought book one blew my mind but this book blew it out of the water. If that’s even possible. This series is amazing and gets better with each book.

In this book, you get more of a look in to the 7 circles and how things in the underworld work. I enjoyed the world building and well thoughout descriptions of the places Emilia and Wrath visited. While the people on the surface talk about it with negativity, Kerri made it sound like a brutal but beautiful place.

I loved seeing Wrath and Emilia get closer. Things definitely heated up between them but their banter is something I live for. While Wrath is still closed off due to things he can’t say he tries to help Emilia in any way he can. It’s not always obvious but when she realizes what he’s done for her it’s a beautiful realization.

We get a bunch of answers to questions we were left with from book one, only to have the rug ripped out from under us. Leaving us with even more questions and the need to know how it ends. Kerri is an amazing story tell her and I can’t wait to see how Wrath and Emilia’s story wraps up in the last book.

Seduction at its best

I can’t even begin to explain how much I have loved this book! The seduction is so hot yet subtle at times. I’m ready to to marry the prince of hell! Can’t wait for book 3 to come out!

Loved it!

Ah! I can't wait for the next book! Not going to lie, Emelia was a bit of a naive and annoying protagonist in the beginning of both books, but at the end of them (this one especially) I feel like she's matured a lot.

*spoilers!*

I love the way at the end she comes to accept Wrath. And that she didn't panic at the end when Wrath didn't immediately answer. And then she went on to state all of her feelings clearly and in full.
I can't wait for the next part.

Good book and audio.

I love the plot line and all the twist. Although I feel they dumb down the main character in some instances where the truth would have been easy information. Over all this is a great series thus far.

Excellent!!!

Honestly the first book was alot of setting up the story and not to much spice so I was a little worried I would be bored. Excellent slow burn romance and the twists and turns in the story kept me guessing everytime I thought I knew where this was going I was wrong. If u just finished the first book and was disappointed there wasn't enough spice you should definitely get this one. can't wait to start the next one as soon as I'm done this review
