Wonderful read.

I enjoyed reading this book and reflecting on what I can work on to be a more effective leader and how I can be open to the gifts of others.

excellent book written by a excellent leader

There are lots of nuggets in this book that a person can take away, be it how lead or how to personally grow.

The Almost Bible of Corporate Leadership

I have a problem with someone placing a book at the level of the Bible but came close. Short, to the point, well thought out, makes sense and can be applied.

Important Message!

Important message! It's just that other people tell it better, like Conscious CapItalism, Dan Pink, and Simon Sinek.

enjoyed this book.

although this won't likely help me that much in a tech company -- the ideas about communication and ownership seem valid.

I can't believe I'm just now finding this book

What a fantastic read. i can't wait to share it with my leadership team. So many things that Max articulated that I have never been able to describe and I am thankful. Short but thoughtful, well planned and executed.

I must have listened to this book at least 10 times. Max DePree shows some beautyfull insights on the subject of leadership. He states in the beginning of the book that " this book is not a how to book, but more a why to book ". I higly recommend this book :-)

Inspirational

An extremely inspirational piece of literature that defines the reality of leadership. Not a how-to book; much more open ended. This book paints with words a reality that takes years and years to grasp. It is an open door to a landscape to explore and discover. Highly recommended.
