About this listen

From T. M. Logan comes a chilling audiobook thriller.

Six days ago, Joe Lynch was a happily married man, a devoted father, and a respected teacher living in a well-to-do London suburb. But that was before he spotted his wife’s car entering a hotel parking garage. Before he saw her in a heated argument with her best friend’s husband. Before Joe confronted the other man in an altercation where he left him for dead, bleeding and unconscious.

Now, Joe’s life is unraveling. His wife has lied to him. Her deception has put their entire family in jeopardy. The man she met at the hotel has vanished. And as the police investigate his disappearance, suspicion falls on Joe.

Unable to trust the woman he loves, Joe finds himself at the mercy of her revelations and deceits, unsure of who or what to believe. All he knows is that her actions have brought someone dangerous into their lives—someone obsessed with her and determined to tear Joe’s world apart.

There are some inconsistencies that a good editor should have caught. Not a bad listen.

I really enjoyed this audio book! It was extremely fast paced and had a very well
done surprise at the end!

Great Suspense-Mystery!

It was an easy plot to uncover but ok for $5.00. It did get a bit boring but I got through it to the obvious conclusion.

Just ok

I enjoyed the performance, the storyline and the vivid descriptions. The latter got to be a bit too much at times, however.

The story hooked me from the beginning and kept me guessing. I thought I had figured the plot out until almost the very end. THEN, BOOM I was totally taken aback by the twist at the end. I never saw it coming. A nice change from the tepid suspense novels I have been listening to lately.

A Good Listen

lots of twists and turns. The protagonist is kind of a moron. You want to be able to reach into the story and give him a good shaking. The story is good and not predictable and the narration is also great.

Great listen!

The first and last few chapters were interesting. The middle was difficult to get through. 30/85 chapters probably could've been combined or cut. A book of red herrings.

Redundant

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

When you read a lot of thrillers, I think it starts taking something crazy to make them 4-5 star reads. This book reminded me of a Freida McFadden book, but a little milder. A well written book full of twists, but just left me feeling kind of meh.

Another one

I especially liked the narrator. He made the story work with wonderful accents. Great thriller.
