About this listen

A group of strangers awaken in an old, abandoned landfill hidden deep in the woods, without recollection of how they arrived in the filthy soup of trash. They must uncover their connections to one another and find a way out of the purposely deepened landfill, before the environment and the mastermind behind their abductions destroys them all.

Another great story by a talented author and narrator

Much like the first book in the "Trilogy of Life" series, it was fantastic!

Life in a Savage Landfill is just as engaging and entertaining as the first book in the series, however, it is a bit darker and adds in the stories of multiple characters (some unexpected, integrating elements of fantasy into this story of mystery and suspense). As I was listening to the story, I found myself feeling for each character, whether it was support, empathy, frustration, or disgust. This kept me hooked the entire time. Whenever I wasn't listening to the book, I was thinking about it and searching for the next time I could put my headphones in and listen to another chapter.

This was a unique story that kept my attention the entire time, narrated by the author who did a great job bringing the words to life. I also enjoyed the use of sound effects in the audio as I feel it added to the immersive experience of listening to an audiobook.

I already have added the third book in this series to my TBR lists and to my audible library. I cannot wait to see what happens in it. Thank you, Michael, for another great story!
