About this listen
Unlike other books on divorce, Living Unbroken takes a deep dive into understanding and overcoming the emotional toll divorce, separation, and the loss of a serious long-term relationship has on a woman’s well-being.
As someone who has walked this path, Tracie Miles leads women on a powerful, life-changing journey that provides much-needed hope, encouragement, and practical guidance for living their best life even if it’s not the life they once imagined. Her biblically sound approach teaches listeners how to trust in God’s promises and restore their self-confidence and hope for the future.

Story
When a close friend had her husband leave, I made the commitment to speak with her for 90 straight days, telling her exactly what I wished someone had told me the moment my own wife walked out. Every morning, I'd send her an email with a story from my own "hellacious" experience, giving her something inspirational to focus on and an action step to get her from heartbroken back to thriving - as fast as possible. My goal was simple - to get her just a little bit stronger each and every day, and it worked. This book is those exact letters, compiled for you, with zero punches pulled.

Story
Life often looks so very different than we hoped or expected. Some events may simply catch us off guard for a season, but others shatter us completely. We feel disappointed and disillusioned at best and overwhelmed and hopeless at worst. We quietly start to wonder about the reality of God’s goodness and why he allows us to suffer and experience grief and loss. Lysa TerKeurst understands this deeply. But after many tears, godly counseling, and prayerful seeking, she's also discovered that our disappointments can be the divine appointments our souls need to radically encounter God.

Practical and straightforward, yet warm and compassionate, Grieving with Hope clarifies the popular misconception that people move through stages of grief. This will be an encouragement to many, as grieving people often think something is wrong with them when their grief doesn't proceed neatly through stages. The reality is that grieving people jump back and forth between different emotions, sometimes wrestling with multiple emotions at once. This book is packed with short, biblically based, gospel-centered, topical chapters addressing the issues grieving people face.

Story
When it comes to the “hard seasons” of life—the death of a loved one, divorce, loss of a job—transformation seems impossible when grief and uncertainty dominate your days. Especially when, as Didn’t See that Coming reveals, no one asks to have their future completely rearranged for them. But, as Rachel Hollis writes, it is up to you how you come through your pain—you can come through changed for the better, having learned and grown, or stuck in place where your identity becomes rooted in what hurt you.

Good and helpful but churchy.
Tracie had many good tips and helpful advice. I actually like the idea of writing down the good things that have happened since divorce. This book is very Christian based, which wasn’t for me, but I still finished it and found it helpful to listen too.

Thankful
I found this book very helpful! To hear stories and thoughts (like mine) and how to overcome really changed my ways of thinking about things. I loved Traci’s voice in reading her own book. I’m from Tx too. Thank you for sharing your story.

Wise Words
Many women didn’t choose divorce, but Tracie reminds us that our marital status doesn’t define us in God’s eyes and that a divorce doesn’t mean brokenness. This is a great read!

Helpful book for my healing process.
I have a lot to fork through from my 40 years of marriage. Tracies book helped me to get my eyes off the past and press in to what God has for my future. I really appreciated her honest and open personal stories too. A very helpful book in my healing process.
