It’s good limerence gets to have a whole book. It’s a real feeling, so strong and overwhelming. What i had heard and experienced is, it goes away when the relationship becomes real. This book suggests it can continue in a relationship. What’s the cure?

Limerence is real

This book is definitely for anyone who has experienced limerence before. It helps to hear the experiences of others because it will not only validate your feelings, but there’s also so much to learn and understand about these emotions that otherwise make you feel like you’re crazy.

What a ride!

Loved it! Finally understood what was going on! I wish somebody else was continuing this research and could shine a light on it with respect to our predatorial online media: TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, twitch, etc.

Wait, this is real!?!

This is a must-read for men and women alike. It explains so much about what is sold to us and what people experience. Definitely something you should have a budding teenager read.

Really opened my eyes.

I had heard of limerance but wasn't clear on what it meant. I had heard of the book and this research and was delighted to find it on audible. If you have ever wondered what was going on with your or others’ overpassionate and overpowering feelings of what must truly be “love” and why some don't experience it the same way, here are some answers. This book should be shared with all, especially the young.

Much needed read

This book was very boring and not very informative about the state of limerance and how to cope with living with it. It's chapters of stats of the different kinds of limerant attraction and not much else. It wasn't helpful or interesting.

I feel like it was too “sciency “ and technical. The stories helped break it up but not well enough. Was really hard to stay hooked on the topic.

Hard to follow because the cadence emphasis and verbalization of the reader rarely matched the content she was reading.
