Worth 100% the complimentary deal

An uneven book, which will by no means enable you to “master” design thinking.
The initial overview and many definitions are quite good but the advice on launching a business is unnecessary and a waste of time.
The performance is subpar, with a nice voice but elementary mistakes showing the reader sometimes has no idea what she’s reading — and the editor/QA is AWOL. ParadiGm?!

Not for Product Managers & Designers

Struggled with this book because I was looking for a quick overview of Design Thinking. While it does go deep into various topics involved with Design Thinking, I found that lots of the detail is not helpful to a product manager or designer who is looking to understand concepts in order to apply techniques. This reads more like a dissertation or research paper on the topic. Not what I was looking for.

A rough summary.

I learned more from a google search and a TPT lesson PowerPoint than I did from this book. That being said, it’s a good summary of Design Thinking, if I required a reading from it for students, I think they’d build a better understanding of what we’re trying to do in Design, although I think it would bore them to death. I saw someone suggest it’s an AI written book, that wouldn’t surprise me at all.

Way to high level with no substance

I work as a design engineer and was looking forward to learning different thinking skills, techniques, etc.. This book was written clumsily with too many big words and buzzwords. With a lack of practical examples , I get the impression this book was written by a professor with no real-world experience.
No substance or actionable learnings to be gained from this book.

Well described!!

My friend recommended to listen this audio book. I purchase this and get a few thing before I don't know. It was very clear and to the point. Really happy to get this as a companion.

Truly decent!!

So far this book is actually what I needed. Splendid clarifications of pretty much every game possible. Best of all, it permits you to think as far as a game scholar.

Makes no sense at all

I spent almost 2 hrs listening to the book and couldn’t understand what this book is all about. There is no structure, no concept nothing. Just a collection of thousands of words. Very disappointed.

Should be call larger overview of design thinking vs mastering.

This is more overview... big picture rather than mastering. Chapter 15 starts to dive a little deeper but still very service lev

Solid guide!!

There is a very detailed description of how to avoid contractor failure throughout all the up's & down's in this very cyclical industry. I liked this details.
