Publisher's summary

Wolf Wayburn is the devil in an Armani suit with the body of a Greek god. He thinks I’m just a small-town girl who he can intimidate—but I never back down from a fight.

The first time we met, he cut me off at a gas station. So, I flashed him the bird and mocked his family jewels. The second time we met, he tried to get me fired. He took his shot—and he missed. At least for now.

Wolf Wayburn was an ex-Navy SEAL with an attitude. But it would take a lot more than the big, bad Wolf to scare me off.

I had ninety days to win the man over. To convince him that I was the right person for the job. But spending endless amounts of time with him proved more challenging than I’d expected.

He was stubborn and broody and charming and sexy—all at the same time. I despised him as much as I craved him.

We taunted and teased and terrorized one another for weeks. The first time he dropped to his knees, it was to search me for a weapon. The second time…it was an altogether different story.

I never planned to fall for the enemy. Because I knew it was easier to hate Wolf Wayburn than to love him.

Great enemies to lovers

4.5 stars This was a fantastic enemies to lover. Dylan is independent and doesn’t take sh*t from anyone and doesn’t need a man. When she runs into Wolf after his car cuts her off at the gas station she tells him exactly what she thinks of him…. Only to find out he is who is going to be taking over the NHL team she is trying to get a job with. Wolf also has no desire for a relationship…he is a retired Navy seal and doesn’t do relationships. Eventually they can’t fight their attraction. I loved watching both of them fall, while they both still kept their strong independent identity.

Fantastic ending to this wonderful series!

Only Mine, book five in the Honey Mountain series brings together the Big Bad Wolf and the sassy Minx, a touch of sweet, a smatter of sarcasm and a whole lot of spicy! I was thrilled to finally get Dylan’s story and it was better than I ever would have expected. These two have chemistry in spades and it was a joy to watch them work out their differences and find common ground but the best part was watching the gruff man soften up to the one woman that gave as good as she got.
Dylan was so easy to like. She is loyal, has a big heart and loves her family but she is also witty, sassy and has met her match when Wolf shows up in her life.
Wolf the broody Navy Seal is back working for the family business and it is his first encounter with Dylan, the outspoken, take no $h!t woman who takes him by surprise and it is not their last encounter! She is smart, feisty and everything he needs but doesn’t know he wants.
I loved this series so much and am sad to see it end but it ended with a fantastic story that put a smile on my face.
I also had the added benefit of listening to the audio version of this story and the narrators did a fantastic job that absolutely added to my enjoyment of this book!

Swoon worthy

If I wasn’t melting from the steamy sexual tension, I was melting from the honest to goodness romance. Loved that it was such a straight forward story with no unnecessary drama. Can’t wait to read another story by this author!

Hate to love, small town, workplace romance with all the forced proximity!

3.5 stars! Only Mine is the 5th, and final book in Laura Pavlov’s Honey Mountain series and I’ve been binging all of them on audio. This one is a small town, hate to love, workplace, forced proximity romance!

Dylan and Wolf first meet when he cuts her off at the gas station and they argue. They then see one another after and realize they’re going to be working together. Wolf is about to take over the family’s hockey team, he’s an ex-Navy SEAL, billionaire dressed like a devil in an Armani suit with an attitude! And Dylan is a badass lawyer who we have seen featured throughout the series and the last sister to get her HEA. Dylan and Wolf have allllll the hateful banter towards one another, they tell one another they hate each other probably just as much if not more than they admit they love one another. 😅 We get forced proximity with them working together, traveling together, and even living as neighbors for a bit!

“Now, you love me. Which means you’ll hate me again in another hour. It’s what we do. I’m not a man who gives my heart away, Dylan. And maybe that’s because it always belonged to you, even before I met you. But it’s yours. Love me. Hate me. It doesn’t matter. We belong together.”—Wolf

The heroine has a strong personality and while this wasn’t my fav book in the series, it was a fun one! I ended up binging this series on audio and they are an overall fun, low angst time. But I still do love the author’s Cottonwood Cove series so much more.
