About this listen

Herald Stone continues to get hard……as he plans for his chosen tank build—a Plaguetank. A tank was supposed to stand tall despite any ailments enemies could cause. Herald takes it further, finding ways to inflict them upon himself, and synergizing his craziness with skills that make him tankier if suffering negative statuses. Spreading them to anyone who dared attack him, Herald Stone presents a gamble to his enemies: who can outlast whom?

Navigating intricate questlines, dealing with other players, and exploring Mother Core Online, Herald uncovers a secret that could be the centerpiece of his Plaguetank project. That is… if he can survive it.

Book 2 in the action-packed and often hilarious Getting Hard LitRPG Series, starring the unforgettable and eccentric Herald Stone!

It’s a good continuation of the first book. Theory and practice thrown together into an interesting mix.

Still going hard

I enjoyed this book as much as the first one. Herald levels up more in preparation of the great hunt and finds out more about the mortucryon main quest. Lots of progress and not so much crunch for a litrpg.

The high school jokes continue which feels slightly out of place for a 32 yr old CEO but I understand with the title. I look forward to how Herald continues his unbox-like tank build as he continues to get hard!

A fun sequel to the first one.

If you're worried that this book has the same problem as the first, funny worry, it improved by a lot. I think the first phallic joke doesn't even happen for about 2 hours. Harold comes off as more of a actual person, though still a narcissist, he recognizes he's a bit much and is even embarrassed by his actions at times. It's a bit slow at the start because of side quest stuff but all necessary and picks up and the game continues to be interesting. I'm actually looking forward to the next book and this plague tank build being completed

Much Better!
