Publisher's summary

Nick was going to make something of himself. He was not going to be just another guy drifting through life. Then he died.

Lucky for him he caught the attention of an eccentric god and gets to choose: reincarnation or travel beyond.

Nick is reborn as a champion of Ki’darth people. He must learn their ways, stay alive, and work to understand the Titan system, one level at a time.

Join Nick and his trusty talking book, Neako, as they complete quests, learn new abilities, and gain levels!

This is a LitRPG book with a "game system" levels, stats, and cool abilities. No harem and loads of fun violence.

Frustrating but still interesting

I'll get some disclaimers or if the way. I got a review key for this. That will not stop me from telling you what's wrong with the book.

Also, im aware that the MC is a teenager. They make dumb decisions. They are dramatic. They panic about stuff that doesn't need it, while thinking they are invincible in situations that might deserve that panic instead. Even if it wouldn't help.

That being said, I screamed at my phone about 10-15 times asking him if he was an idiot.

The guy is really bad at fighting to. Even though he doesn't die, him and his 'team's come close a number of times. More often than not they end up fighting individually, only trading off enemies instead of effectively combining their abilities.

Putting that aside, I do find the Titan system interesting. As well as the flexibility of the magic. That's honestly what kept my interest the most, even if he takes way longer than me to come up with ideas.

I honestly would have given up on this half way through, but I felt obligated to finish it. Despite that, the ending hooked me again.

I'll probably give that second book a shot. I'm hoping that since he's already come into a decent amount of power and actually grown up a bit, the second one will be easier to stomach.

Side note, GET SOME DAMN MANA ARMOR IDIOT! Even if it's just a mana shield or even sort of Aegis that just blocks ranged attacks. You need some dammit. You bug armor isn't enough for the kinds of things you're going to be fighting. Think long term.

This story is amazing

The narrator is awesome, the story is great. Loved the world building that the author had accomplished. The only dislike is that it ended when it did.

Fantastic new sci-fi fantasy game lit story!

Great story and narration!

After dying trying to save someone from a burning building, Nick gets transferred to another world of magic and futuristic technology! On a dying world with a technically advanced magical race on the brink of destruction, he will have to move mountains to save his new people!

Todd does a fantastic job with the narration!

I really enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next one in the series to come out!

fun reincarnation litRPG

This book brought together some of my favorite tropes. reincarnation, a system, and cultivation. The cultivation isn't traditional but through Mana channels instead meridians

Actually really good

I really liked this book, it was actually really good. I can't wait to see what happens in book 2, the cliffhanger was crazy, and it left me craving for more. I do think this book has its flaws, and we're gonna get into that in this review, this book also has its pros.

The Narration is really good, Todd is a really good narrator, he performed this book very well. he has alot of different voices and they all sound different. He also has some good accents, he's an excellent narrator with alot of skill. He was a good choice for this book, and I think he fit it. I rate the narration a 5 star.

The characters are written super good, I really like the mc, he has a unique personality and most of the time he's down to earth. he does make some dumb decisions in my opinion, but it doesn't diminish my opinion of him. The other side characters are also pretty cool, I like his little group. They all have depth and personalities that add to the group. I also like the love interest, it's not to crazy but it's something that adds to the story.
I also like the change in race and whatnot, it's a nice change of pace listening to a different race with alot of cool traits.
I didn't see much character development, but I think it'll get better in book 2.
I rate the characters a 4.7/5.

The plot is good, but it feels... it doesn't feel rushed persay, it just feels like it doesn't have any depth. the cliffhanger was good, so I think book twos plot might be better. That being said, I still like it. it's not bad or anything. The plot progressed normally, and I like the pace it kept.
I Rate the plot a 4 star.
Now I really like the world building, it's the best thing about this book. the world there in is really like nothing I've read before. I feel like the premise is also just... superb. the world is detailed and it keeps you intrigued. I really like it and I know it deserves a 5 star.

The action also is good, this book is action packed, especially during the end. It's detailed and it keeps you interested. I find it so awesome to read about a alien mc taking down his opponents with spells. I really liked the action, and I feel it was really enjoyable to listen too.
i rate the action a 4.8/5.

I really liked this book, and I was kept entertained throughout the entire series. Timothy's writing skills really came out in this book, and I just know he's gonna bring something fierce in book 2. I also can't wait to hear Todd's performance in book 2, you can best believe I'll be back with a review on book 2.

3.5 Stars

I liked a lot about this book, but there were many things that I didn’t. I think a lot of those can be blamed on the narrator. When I was reading the text, I enjoyed it a lot more than when listening to it on audible. Of particular annoyance was the pronunciation of one of the Character names. “Mesh’eel” looks like it should be pronounced “Mesh Eel.” For the First half of the book he pronounced it “ME shell” like it was a Frenchman named Michel or a woman named Michelle. Then he changes it to “ME SHEEL” for a while. Around the end of the book, he seems to just pick a pronunciation at random. If you are going to pronounce something incorrectly, at least be consistent!

The MC is DUMB. Most of the damage he takes in the book is avoidable if he was just paying attention or quicker to react. It felt like, in most of the fight scenes, he takes one swing… whiffs… then stands there with a dumb look on his face trying to figure out what is happening while the attack he knows is coming inevitably lands.

Also, mildly annoying, was the fact that the race he is reincarnated into has a 100:1 male to female ratio. So, of course, the only female in the story is his love interest even when he is still considered an infant by their standards. I would think a race like that would either end up with a Matriarchy & reverse harems or Females would end up as a highly valued “commodity” that all the males would fight over. But no, the MC infant gets to come in and take her off the market almost immediately and nobody bats an eyelash or says a thing about it.

Young Adult Novel

this rating is good the adult audiences. decent read for young Adult, has mild sexuality and violence references. Way too fast, undeveloped, overpowered, and impulsive for mature audiences. Great read for teens

Great Book and Awesome Narrator

This book is a hidden gem in the LitRpg ‘game system’ genre
I really love how the author pays close attention to even the little things and details, little as they are, I really don’t like it when some authors just brushes over minor details, some forgetting about them entirely. But not this author, the author makes sure to brush up on minor details.
Plus, the narrator did a great job on all aspects of the narration
