About this listen

Principles of Real Estate Practice is a modern learning tool for the student preparing to enter the real estate business as a licensed professional. The textbook contains the essentials of real estate principles, law, and practices taught in real estate schools and colleges across the country, including all those fundamentals that real estate educators, practicing professionals, national testing services, and state licensing officials agree are necessary for basic competence. Principles of Real Estate Practice covers the national requirements for the initial 30-90+ hours of classroom study, or its equivalent, mandated by state license laws across the country.

Principles of Real Estate Practice is tailored to the needs of the pre-license student. Its examples and exercises are grounded in the authors' 50 combined years in real estate education. The textbook is designed to:

  • Make it easy for students to learn the material and pass their real estate exam
  • Prepare students for numerous career applications
  • Stress practical, rather than theoretical, skills and knowledge

The narrator is so mono toned that i zoned out multiple times and found it hard to follow.

Needs editing

It works, and I can handle it but it needs editing. You can hear them turning the pages in the book sometimes as they are reading.

Not totally accurate

The reader takes liberties with words and skips many of the examples and doesn't describe any of the exhibits. The chapters are numbered wrong so they don't match the book (off by 1). Midway through Ch 20 (labeled Ch 21) there is a section of about 20 mins that doesn't belong (it is a section from a previous chapter). This was good enough to get through the course but not the best audio version of a textbook I've ever listened to.

Zzzzz…. Reader boring

Reader is monotoned and boring! Hard to follow. Wish there were examples with every vocabulary word so you can comprehend the meaning.

Editor fell asleep on the job!!

There are SO MANY times where you can hear the narrator repeat sentences different ways where it was obviously supposed to be cut & only verbalized once that it is distracting to the entire book!! It happens CONSTANTLY! Content is not read with the correct emphasis in the correct places for the structure of what is to be communicated. It’s as if the narrator was handed the book for a cold read on a casting call and had not looked ahead. Completely disappointed.
