Well Done
This book does just that without getting too deep into it. I was impressed with the author in that he cited many references to medical studies that were done to prove the effectiveness of qigong. I think that this book is great for someone who is just beginning to learn about these types of exercises.

Really good listen!
I've been interested in tai chi and Qigong as a way to get back into martial arts without having to actually go to martial arts classes. Also, I'm interested in developing more mind and body connection, and just understanding my Chi, etc. I feel like this book was a great introduction to what Qigong is and some other helpful information such as learning more about Chi and foods that strengthen it and other random little tidbits. I did find the instructions for how to do the practice a little bit confusing/overwhelming when you're just listening without any pictures. I plan to start my practice with trying some classes on gaia.com, and looking another places as well like maybe YouTube. The narration was superb and only noted a couple mispronunciations, but the inflections and the voice really made a rather bland material Come to life! Bland as in just the fact it wasn't a story or something… The author did a great job of making it interesting!

the narrator kills it
I'm having a hard time even getting through this book because of the way the narrator is saying "Qigong" 🤣🤣 is driving me nuts and I can't focus on the content. This is the worst narrator I've ever heard. He doesn't bring this book to life, but makes it seem like it was written by ai. But the content seems good so I'm going to try to stick it through to the end, but it's agonizing!

A revelation and a pleasure
The Way of QiGong is an extremely well-written and complete history of qigong. Cohen, a China scholar and practitioner extraordinaire, characterizes qigong as "a holistic system to self-healing exercise and introspection, an ancient, evolving practice that includes healing postures, movement, self-massage, breathing strategies, and meditation."

This is fantastic, cleared the concept!
Thanks to the author for his ongoing effort to get this easy-to-do manner of handling the negativities of life. I have gone through some reviews that gave it a poor rating. They stated they didn't comprehend the idea. Well if you can get your sluggish fingers to google something you're always going to be on the out. Google it!
