Harem Style LitRPG

Redeath 1:Raven is definitely one of those books that is not for everyone and is for a specific audience. I am probably not that audience but I can enjoy aspects of it. It is very adult oriented and contains a lot of sex which I always find just detracts from the actual story and isn't particularly enjoyable to me although I know some people do enjoy it. The story itself has some very interesting apects to it and there is quite a lot of action and battle which are pretty enjoyable.

The narration by Carver Claeys is done quite well and makes the story more enjoyable. Overall if you are into Scifi LitRPG and harem style novels than this is for you, if gratuitous sex scenes with multiple women that aren't all that realistic aren't your thing or you can't look past it than this isn't for you but if you do enjoy all 3 than this is definitely for you.

Great story but terrible narrator

Narrator has the vocal range of a brick, making everybody sounded the same. I really enjoyed the story but couldn't get over the narrator so I stopped listening halfway through, I'll just buy the paperback to finish.

Definately worth the try

Looked at the reviews, which were very mixed. I highly recommend listening to it for a bit, as the beginning is a slow hook, but once it gets going, it's an entertaining story.

romance novel for guys with odd narrator choice

first things first, the narrator is weird. his voice is so masculine and deep and smarmy. very distracting and also, he doesn't have much of a range. even the women sound like masculine men. it was not for me.

second, this book has too much sex in it. I don't consume these books so to hear that. I'm no prude, I love sex and read erotic literature, but that's not why I'm here. the descriptions of sex seem well written from what I could hear over the sound of my rolling eyes. I think the big problem for me comes from the amount of sex which occurs. the MC is a sex starved walking erection. he tries to sleep with everyone. add to that the smarmy voice acting and I just had to turn it off and return it, see despite enjoying it otherwise. if you don't mind the sex, this might be a good book for you, because it was pretty good otherwise.

Story is severally lacking

It was a struggle to finish it. As the story progresses, more and more questions keep popping up, but there is no exposition and immediately after something comes along that might explain or a new question arises, right into battle we go. This book is more an movie script for an action movie than it is an actual story.

congratulations on a new sub-genre litrpg Romance

this book is lit litrpg Romance it is Harlequin romance meets litrpg it's like reading a book of the week congratulations to the author for creating a new sub Chandra this should become an interesting novel hopefully those in the hamlet sub-genre will take note of how this author bounces out the game with the the interactions between the two main characters this is the perfect way to do this not too immature Orca tortoise

an excellent addition to harem litrpg style novels

This was a very good addition to anyone harem litrpg fans collection. Honestly, I liked this more than the others other title, oblivion online. It was really quite good and had significant # of surprises that made it all the more interesting. There was plenty Of appreciation of the scenery. The narrator also did a splendid job.
That said, there is always room for improvement. One thing id definitely like to see more of from the author is a bit more variety and subtlety in his descriptive verbiage. For example, there are a lot more things to call a p$&%y than saying the word p#&%y all the time. And there is more to describe about a woman than fixating on a single mental title (like "battle goddess"). But, every author has their strengths and weaknesses. We cant hold every little thing against them, b/c they can never please everyone.
This was an excellent harem litrpg book for those who r fans of such things. Has e everything u could ask for. Bear in mind, this is a sci fi style litrpg, not fantasy. So u will be dealing with mostly technology based levelling, rather than magic.
Great book, looking forward to its sequal.
I was given a promo code by the author, so received this audio book free Of charge, in the interest of full full disclosure. However, I'd like to think I've been as fair and honest as possible in my review.

A great start to an exciting series!

mechs, guns, swords, and battle babes - what's not to like?

The story is engaging, and the narration is solid.

This book does have adult themes and relationships, but does so with taste.

Overall - a fun story and well worth a credit.

I look forward to more from this author.
