Awesome story!!

Didn't know what to expect but surprisingly enough, it kept me engrossed until the end. The characters are awesome and the ending couldn't have been better.

Narration

It kept me enthralled and aghast simultaneously!! Best read in quite awhile. Although Laymons popularity hasn’t met the level of King or Koontz he certainly deserves a seat at the table!! Hear hear!!!

Suprised good book

A little like swan song by mcgammon. Well done. One of his better books.
Comming of age adventure, funny at times.

Fantastic

This book along with the narrative performance was very very good. I love this writer style of writing. The pacing of the book and the building of suspense was very good. The narrators performance was excellent. I found myself looking forward to getting back to this audiobook as often as possible. I will be checking out other titles from Richard Laymon.

Laymon's best work!

What an amazing coming of age story about a young boy forced on a journey pursuing Jack the Ripper as cross the sea and in to the Wild West. This is not horror, but a mix of adventure, suspense, and yes, love!

entertainingly

I'm not sure if it was the narrator's performance or what, but this book ended up being both disturbing AND hilarious at the same time!

Most excellent

This is my favorite Laymon book, but there could be some bias due to my interest in ol’ Jack. But everything this author wrote is just great, and full of turns, and can’t beat it. To me, he’s the master of horror, not King.

I first read this book like 8 years ago, and i saw it on here so i had to snag it and give it another go. “By and by”, i’m pleased yet again 🦾🦾
