Self Discipline - Personal Commitment For Success
This audio is really a short listen however, it is chock full of very practical advice that determines anyone can achieve goals through self discipline. Although self discipline seems like a means of depriving oneself, the author describes it as a behavioral and psychological outlook that promotes changes once mastered. The book defines self discipline in the most general terms, the purpose and use, the psychological changes that occur once one is engaged, and most importantly, the potential for anyone to benefit from the skill once developed. Variation in application of self discipline is discussed indicating that completion can be a small task achieved in several days or a long term goal that involves years to become realized. Methodology is discussed in detail that depicts a logical common sense approach to focusing upon goals while creating positive thoughts and behaviors.
The narrator was very successful in telling information while maintaining the interest of the listener. The voice was commanding with an optimum amount of flow or rhythm that makes comprehension simple. Speech is presented in a fashion that engages the listener in the belief that he is a professional that is most aware of subject matter. Voice quality is excellent with a natural flow and rhythm making the listener aware that information is deseminated without a preachy or lectured feel. Speech is articulate with proper word formation that is clear and comprehensive.Rate of speech is easy and flows well so that listener does not become lost or disinterested. Voice inflection is congruent to subject matter. I would suggest this audio is worth listening to more than once as concepts are adaptable in a manner circumstances for maximum benefit. Awesome audio that is packed with great advice while being relevant to a wide scope of listeners. Highly recommend. It's a little long winded in the beginning but its very informative if you have the patience to listen through all the research mentioned and pick out the information that is necessary this is the book for you. If you want a straight to the point type of guidance then this may frustrate you. best for beginners

Self Discipline
I don’t usually listen to self help books but was asked to listen to this one and leave a review so I came in with an open mind.
I felt this book hit a lot of important points on what can cause your self discipline to become distracted and explained how we can retrain our minds to become more reliable with meeting the goals you set. Overall I feel this book is definitely worth the listen.

Self help that’s useful
First off let me start by saying I’m not a big self help book fan. Usually only read them or listen when it’s one that’s required for work. Took this one on a whim and wasn’t disappointed. I’m a big fan of the Energy Bus and this book does for the mind what that did for team building. It covers the bases of what you need to look for in yourself and your behaviors to make achieving your goals a reality. The acronym for FEAR is my favorite of all the ones I’ve come across over the year. One of my big apprehensions with self help books is piss poor monotonous narration. I am happy to say this was not he case. The narrator was able to keep an energetic and engaging tone throughout. Very useful and enjoyable. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator or publisher
