About this listen

In a world full of superpowers, Felix had a pretty crappy one.

He has the ability to modify any item he owns. To upgrade anything. Sounds great on paper. Almost like a video game. Except that the amount of power it takes to actually change, modify, or upgrade anything worthwhile is beyond his abilities.

At least, that was until Felix leveraged a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to give himself a great deal of points.

Investing in Super Heroes and Super Villains and owning them. Using them, Felix built up an empire: an organization by the name of Legion.

Felix got what he wanted. He pushed, pulled, fought, and dug his way through the world to get Legion—or, more accurately, the Association—to the forefront of the world's politics. In doing so, he lost something he couldn't afford to. Andrea Elex had been lost in the final moments of everything coming together.

Now Ryker and Runner have come calling to get those favors repaid he promised them, except he only has one thing on his mind: getting Andrea back as soon as possible.

Fighting against Zeus with the Overgod and the Architect, finishing his business with the Guild of Heroes and League of Villains, pushing the Association and the Legion to the pinnacle of power. All those things were on his to-do list, but to Felix there was only one real answer.

Andrea First.

Great possible end.

I think this book Isa great ending but leaves it a little open ended to possibly let us go on some more adventures with our Felix and his harem. My main criticism toward the book would be that it seems to move a little faster than what I would want but I think that's mostly me just wanting the book to keep going. Definitely recommend anything narrated by Nick Podehl he is amazing at his job.

There were still pancakes

Over all it was good as always, with Holy Pancakes. It just seemed to drudge along for the first 1/3 or so with a lack of direction, just didn't seem to have the spark as the previous books.

WHAT AN ENDING!!!

One of my all time favorite series has come to an end.
And what an ending.
This book and series are what make me continue to love LitRPG and fantasy and Sci-Fi.
Arand and Podehl are an amazing combination!
The only spoiler I'm going to give, is that there are a TON of cameos from characters throughout the Runnerverse.
Readers of Arand/Darrin are definitely going to want this book to complete this series and add to their Runnerverse collection.
I give this book and series 9 out of 5 stars.

narration makes up for the bad story.

This is probably the worst book in the series, it's like the author had an idea, forgot it halfway though, had another idea, forgot that one, then had a third idea and just put it all in one book. For a spicy series this book had zero spice scenes, WTF is with that.

Same story, just slight variations

So Nick P. Did a great job as usual. The story seemed much the same as the previous 3 books in the series. I loved the series starting out, but it really started to get old about book 4. Disappointing.

woohoo!

A great yet surprising ending to the series, if it is the end. Definitely would love a side story or story about Andrea before it all began.

Great but lost the magic of the first 3

What really got me about this series was everything the first 3 books offered. The challenges, the relationships, the struggle.

It feels like the Author had written himself into a corner with book 3 & created a loop hole for book 4. I don't really blame anything because this cam happen but the loop hole removed a lot of the magic that made the first 3 Great.

The conclusion here I feel was a decent tying off of everything but feels just that; not the end of a story or a conclusion but an author tying loose ends so he can walk away with the claim it is finished. This makes it all feel hollow.

Hope it’s not the last

Another’s a great story with Felix and Co. would be interesting to see how this story continues if we go to book 7.
