Publisher's summary

Marc and his party have finished their zeppelin and taken it out to try to discover other Safe Zones. Their intent is to set up trade routes between all the different Safe Zones in order to give them a better chance to survive.

The second Safe Zone they discover with the zeppelin is nearly as large as Any Port. It even has its own ring of outlier Safe Zones, or a partial ring at least. It appears that several of the smaller Safe Zones have been taken and converted into dungeons. With the safety of the larger Safe Zone apparently at stake, they bring the zeppelin down to help the larger Safe Zone however they can.

On return to Any Port, Marc accelerates his own expansion, his father having finally seen the wisdom of all the additional Safe Zones Marc wants in order to capture more land.

With setting up more of their own outlier Safe Zones, meeting new and interesting creatures, some of whom would like to kill and eat the party, making contact with new Safe Zones, and working with the satellite they recovered, Marc keeps himself busy in the aftermath of the System's arrival.

Great world building

great story so far but the books are short and packed full of details. the author has set it up to be a 10 to 15 book series, let's hope this continues

Get rid of Jeff!!

This series is decent. Not great; but not so bad i didn't finish the available books. The m/c is a bit of a snowflake & the author obviously has some Freudian issues that are projected on multiple characters... however, despite all the juvenile dialog & unsophisticated characters, the overall story is decent.
The major exception to this is the authors insistence to allow an unlikable character, with few redeeming qualities, remain (& get worse) throughout the 1st four books.
For a "supporting role" character, Jeff gets treated as an untouchable by all. Nobody, including the more powerful M/C stands up to him with any conviction & substance. He brings very little unique talents to the mix, and those he does have are nowhere near enough to offset his bad qualities. The storyline is diminished by his character & the unrealistic latitude he's given to be a complete a__hole with almost no redeeming qualities. He is a standout spoiled & antagonistic juvenile among a party of juveniles.
It's more than a bit annoying to continually read/follow Jeff in yet another juvenile, selfish & detrimental exploit, to be confronted by one or more of his spineless party members... ultimately garnering no sanctions or punitive actions of any substance.
It's 3.5 books overdue for the M/C to give him an ultimatum to act like an adult & a teammate or get booted from the party, and maybe even from the safe-zone.

Generally enjoyable

For the most part the story is enjoyable, if you're looking for a more relaxed type of LitRPG. There's no big issue the MC or party have to resolve, more daily life in a new system.

However, the cop propaganda was weird and definitely showed the author's beliefs on some current affairs.

Also, I agree with another review saying Jeff is awful. He could be removed from the story and nothing would be lost.

I love this series besides for 1 person

Ok we get it Jeff has issues but I’m so tired of him. I get rid of these people in my personal life and don’t want them ruining a great series like this.

Great book again

Overall amazing, more of that sweet sweet progression and new skill unlocks. I personally enjoy the attempts at contacting and befriending other intelligent species.

Group Therapy Session.

The amount of SJW meets keyboard warrior in this series beyond annoying. You can't go a single chapter without some kind of psychological problem. There is absolutely no calling out of bullshit regarding one character in particular. But I can get past that. The NON STOP inner monologue about how his opinions and his words might effect the others of his friend group. Who he has supposedly known for years. Is the line in the sand. They're your friends who you depend on at all times since M/C hates being in the safe zone for to long. You will not always get along or see eye to eye. But don't tell me these people who are supposedly incredibly intelligent and who can recognize danger, can't tell that the rogue in the group is more of a danger to them then he is the monsters. His decisions alone in this book would have gotten several of his friends if not others killed if there wasn't that healer.
