About this listen

Featured Leadership book of the week (9/15/14)

In this follow-up to his best-selling The 80/20 Principle, the power law that helped hundreds of thousands achieve more by doing less, Richard Koch puts science to work, applying 92 other natural laws to promote the "science of success" within the ever-changing world of business. What does Charles Darwin's theory of natural selection prove about developing a niche product line? How can Isaac Newton's laws of motion and gravity help in a crowded marketplace? This is a must-have audiobook for business leaders looking for clear, evidence-based reasoning that explains why some companies seem to find success everywhere they turn, while others don't make progress.

The numbers tell a story the Power Principals are tools make out of the letters of numbers. So give it a listen and let see if you can the 20% to DO first and then listen again and find another 20% to use or improve the first find.

We must learn to DO WHAT WE KNOW ...

I think another reviewer said something like this is the book of sun su which is sort of correct. he tries to apply business principles to far-reaching scientific laws and sometimes this works and sometimes it's a little far-fetched. In either case he gives you absolutely no structural suggestions just basically denotes some applicable science laws and how they apply to business.

very theoretical, little substance
