Not all salespeople plan on a career in sales. Often, sales chooses them and suddenly they find themselves in a profession they aren't fully prepared for. The Accidental Salesperson is the answer, providing the advice and inspiration they need to master the essentials and hit the ground running. Fully updated to reflect the changes in the marketplace, the second edition provides a much-needed roadmap anyone can use to excel in sales. Filled with money-generating strategies, humorous yet instructive anecdotes, thought-provoking axioms, and powerful tools, the book includes brand-new guidance on:
- Selling to people who dont have time to meet
- Differentiating between information seekers and genuine prospects
- Using social media, Skype, GoToMeeting, WebEx, and other online tools
- Building relationships competitors can't steal
Lively, entertaining, and mercifully free of the dull theories, manipulative methods, and high-pressure tactics of most sales books, the second edition of The Accidental Salesperson guides listeners through every aspect of selling to today's customers.

I’ve listen to the book multiple times, which is rare for me since I’m so discerning about voiceover narrations.
This book was hit out of the park by both the author & the narrator who captured the tone in an engaging, attention keeping way. I even laughed out loud a couple of times. Well done!
My first day on the new job is day after tomorrow, and I feel confident and ready to hit the ground running with new standards & systems.
Having been a sales professional for years, I wish I had discovered this book a decade ago, while I’m grateful to have found it now!

BTW: My sense of Chris Lytle is that he is a person who has done a lot of personal growth work. This really appeals to me in a world so filled with “shallow end of the pool” thinking & operating. I somehow felt less alone being exposed to the thoughts from The Accidental Sales Person.
Thanks, again Chris!

Tom Hopkins, Zig Ziglar, Peter Lowe, Dan Kennedy, Kenrick Cleveland, Chet Holmes and Jay Abraham I can unequivocally say this is in my top 10 of all time ! My only disappointment is that Chris himself didn’t narrate it.
