We all want love. Everything we do is in pursuit of love, but that journey has gotten difficult and complicated. We're programmed to seek love outside of ourselves, and we're trained that love is something to earn, or a destination to reach; that programming blinds us to the simple truth that we are beautiful, eternal sources of love, and to BE LOVED is to BE LOVE.

Habit busting and building goes way beyond becoming a dedicated flosser or never showing up late again - our habits reveal our unmet desires, the gaps in our boundaries, our level of self-awareness, and our unconscious beliefs and fears.

For years Ryder Carroll tried countless organizing systems, online and off, but none of them fit the way his mind worked. Out of sheer necessity, he developed a method called the Bullet Journal that helped him become consistently focused and effective. Then it went viral. To his astonishment, Bullet Journaling is now a global movement. The Bullet Journal Method is about much more than organizing your notes and to-do lists. It's about what Carroll calls "intentional living": weeding out distractions and focusing your time and energy in pursuit of what's truly meaningful.

It's comforting to imagine that superstars in their fields were just born better equipped than the rest of us. When a co-worker loses 20 pounds, or a friend runs a marathon while completing a huge project at work, we assume they have more grit, more willpower, more innate talent, and above all, more motivation to see their goals through. But that's not at actually true, as popular Inc.com columnist Jeff Haden proves. "Motivation" as we know it is a myth. Motivation isn't the special sauce that we require at the beginning of any major change.

We want our children to succeed, to be their best, and to do their best, but what if they are not on board? A few years ago, Ned Johnson and Bill Stixrud started noticing the same problem from different angles: even high-performing kids were coming to them acutely stressed and lacking any real motivation. Many complained that they had no real control over their lives.

Story
The Shadow is the part of us made up of all that we hide from others: our shame, our fears and our wounds, but also our divine spirit, our blinding beauty and our hidden talents. The Shadow is not bad—in fact it is the source of our creativity and power—but until we bring it into the light this power will remain untapped and our full potential unreached. This audiobook will show you how to fearlessly embrace your shadow side in both your dreams and daily life, thereby manifesting the awakened power of your full potential.

Aging - not cancer, not heart disease - is the underlying cause of most human death and suffering. The same cascade of biological changes that renders us wrinkled and gray also opens the door to dementia and disease. We work furiously to conquer each individual disease, but we never think to ask: Is aging itself necessary? Nature tells us it is not: There are tortoises and salamanders who are spry into old age and whose risk of dying is the same no matter how old they are.

Integrating mindfulness, neuroscience, positive psychology, and creativity research, Rosemary Davidson and Arzu Tahsin explore how the simple act of making something from scratch impacts mental well-being.

Great starting point
The content was great, although I would prefer a bit more length in certain topics regarding exercises in self awareness.
I understand there is an workbook by the same author, which maybe explains why this one doesn’t go as deep in those exercises.

Way different than I expected. But very good!
As someone who has battled insomnia for most of my adult life, I have genuinely missed dreaming. I joined a book club a few months back and this was one chosen for it. I just finished it and I have to say I really liked it, and I’m excited to go back through a few chapters and put her recommendations to a more detailed practice. I have had a few dreams that I could actually remember and wrote down since I started this book and I’m thrilled to go deeper and remember more. I recommend having an open mind, set your criticisms and judgements for things you may not relate to, or be comfortable with aside and just listen. I thought it was definitely worth it!

Divine
This book has opened so many insights for me so much more than a tutorial about lucid dreams truly in every chapter lies deep nuggets of wisdom pertaining to dreams spirituality and life as a whole. This book has catalyzed a rebirth in my spirit and intrigue in the physical and non physical world. Simply divine.
