good narrator and we'll written, but it is mostly the basics, but it is a great first step to game design. I hope that Joe will make a book that gose more in depth other than the book about top ten mistakes that new board game designers make. over all I would recommend to any one new to game design.

There really isn't much here about board games. Rather, it's about the basics of the creative process: keep a notebook, do your research etc.

Anyone looking for an actual guide to developing a board game will be disappointed.
