About this listen

All three Iron Man novelizations in one volume!

In Marvel's Iron Man, billionaire Tony Stark is kidnapped by terrorists intent on forcing him to build a weapon of mass destruction. Instead he constructs an advanced suit of armor and makes a daring escape, vowing to protect the world as Iron Man. Will his superhero shell be enough to stop a villain bent on destruction, or will Tony's days as Iron Man be his last?

In Marvel's Iron Man 2, everyone's favorite superhero, Tony Stark, returns with a brand-new high-tech suit of armor to save the world. This time Stark takes on such vile villains as Whiplash and Justin Hammer to keep his technology safe.

Marvel's Iron Man 3, spinning out of the events of Marvel's Iron Man 2 and Marvel's The Avengers, is the next chapter in the life of billionaire inventor Tony Stark, otherwise known as the invincible Iron Man!

Featured Article: Marvel—What Is the Multiverse?

It seems like every time you turn around, there’s a new version of events unfolding in Marvel comics or Marvel movies or Marvel TV series that seem to contradict themselves. The Marvel Universe, which includes beloved characters such as Iron Man, Captain America, Loki, Spider-Man, and many (many!) more, first began with the Marvel comics series, created by Stan Lee in 1961. Since then, the Marvel franchise has expanded rapidly to include the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which depicts your favorite superheroes on screen. The Marvel universe has expanded into the Marvel multiverse!

Cuts out some stuff and adds other things that weren't in the movies to make a slightly different version of all three stories. Certainly not a straight up novelization of the movies, but good in its own way as a standalone retelling that really used the movies as a guide for overall story. Very nicely done. Might've been better if the movie actors had done the reading, but there's probably a good reason why they didn't. Even helps fill in a couple odd gaps in the movies stories. The legend of the iron man as told by Tony's friend in the cave, for instance. That wasn't in the movie, if I remember correctly.

Interesting junior novelization of the movies.

The stories were good but the performance was kind of boring, it needed more enthusiasm.

good story, bad performance

This narrator gives a lively performance of three great novelizations of the Iron Man films. The books do a good job of recapturing the stories of the films, apart from the third one, which for some reason makes weird changes to the climactic battle and aftermath...
Again, other than that, it is a great collection and worthy tribute to Iron Man himself!!!

Really good retelling of the trilogy! (For the most part)

I love the book in a way that’s serious but even though I’m 9 I still love it but it’s disappointing that the narrator is not Robert Johnny Junior
