About this listen

I'm the other guy.

No, it's not what you're thinking, so calm down. And yes, I just dared to say the words "calm down".

He's the guy your mama warned you about. I just so happened to be his number neighbor.

Yeah, you read that right. I'm the textdoor neighbor to the guy having one-night stands with seemingly the entire town. And I'm the lucky one who gets to "break up" with his not-so-lucky conquests.

Turns out, breaking up with most of them wasn't as hard as I'd expected it to be. Until she came along.

I was content living my boring life, running a boxing gym and going home to an empty house. She made me realize that maybe being content isn't enough.

I'm Jack Cole. And this is the story about how I became...the other guy.

Food and banter

Loved Jack and Sierra and their journey to find love. The humor was fantastic between these two and I was glad to see a glimpse into their future.

Love the male narrator

Storyline started off realistic, but then there were way too many coincidences. Loved the male narrator, when he was doing the male voice . However when he was doing the female voice, it was terrible. Oddly the last chapter before epilogue he read male, female read female part. Wish they did that the entire book.

This one will keep you laughing!!

Great story! A case of the wring number being given to some guy’s hookups. Jack lives a quiet, boring even, life until this happens and he has some fun with it. Then he meets a girl…but she’s in a relationship so it’s friend zone. Sierra is visiting her uncle when she meets an interesting guy and they hit it off. He even shared his predicament with being a Text Neighbor and dealing with strange women. Jack’s a great guy…if only she wasn’t in a relationship. Of course THAT’S not the end of the story but to go deeper would give away the good stuff. Trust me, if you want a book that will keep you laughing then look no further!
