Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money.

As an 18-year-old, black, broke, lonely, insecure, university drop-out, from a bankrupt family, I wrote in my diary that I wanted to be a 'Happy Sexy Millionaire' by the age of 25. By 25 I was a multi-millionaire having created a business worth over $300m dollars. Ironically, in achieving everything I set out to, I learnt that I was wrong about almost everything... The world had lied to me. It lied to me about how you attain fulfilment, love and success, why those things matter, and what those words actually mean.

In 12 weeks, there just isn't enough time to get complacent, and urgency increases and intensifies. The 12 Week Year creates focus and clarity on what matters most and a sense of urgency to do it now. In the end more of the important stuff gets done and the impact on results is profound.

Publisher's summary
Millionaires have captured our fancy for ages. How do they get there? How must it feel to have that much money? What’s their lifestyle like? What are their thoughts and strategies? Over the years we have thought of so many of these questions, and more. These arise out of not just curiosity but a strong desire to live a life that’s not riddled by the daily constraints springing from the lack of money.
Till now, we have either looked at these millionaires with either a sense of awe at what they have achieved or a dismissive attitude about their wealth and accomplishments. The truth is neither of these perspectives has helped us. Rather, it would be wise to look a little deeper than their material achievements and understand what we can learn from their approach.
Self-made millionaires don’t get to where they are by mere luck, but by employing healthy mindsets, consistently disciplined lifestyles, and well-thought-out strategies. You have looked far and wide to find what these are, but your search ends here. This book lets you take a deep dive into the learnings from these millionaires across the globe in a concise and well-organized format. The idea behind this book is to not only give you theoretical concepts, but to provide you with strong actionable points that you can employ in your life in a step-by-step manner.
The book is divided into five parts that discuss everything you need to know about the secrets of the millionaire mindset that no one tells you about - their thought process, their personality traits, their daily routines, their strategic planning, and last but not least, their millionaire lifestyle.

Story
Why have history's greatest minds - from George Washington to Frederick the Great to Ralph Waldo Emerson along with today's top performers, from Super Bowl-winning football coaches to CEOs and celebrities - embraced the wisdom of the ancient Stoics? Because they realize that the most valuable wisdom is timeless and that philosophy is for living a better life, not a classroom exercise. The Daily Stoic offers a daily devotional of Stoic insights and exercises, featuring all-new translations.

Finally, in the first productivity book by a woman in a decade, Erin Falconer will show you how to do less - a lot less. In fact, How to Get Sh*t Done will teach you how to zero in on the three areas of your life where you want to excel, and then it will show you how to offload, outsource, or just stop giving a damn about the rest. In How to Get Sh*t Done she shows how even the most perfectionistic among us can tap in to our inner free spirit and learn to feel like badasses rather than drudges.

Who was this rumpled guy in cargo shorts and limp white socks, whose eyes twitched across Zoom meetings as he played video games on the side? In Going Infinite Lewis sets out to answer this question, taking listeners into the mind of Bankman-Fried.

The latest groundbreaking tome from Tim Ferriss, the number-one New York Times best-selling author of The 4-Hour Workweek. For the last two years, I've interviewed more than 200 world-class performers for my podcast, The Tim Ferriss Show. The guests range from super celebs (Jamie Foxx, Arnold Schwarzenegger, etc.) and athletes (icons of powerlifting, gymnastics, surfing, etc.) to legendary Special Operations commanders and black-market biochemists. For most of my guests, it’s the first time they’ve agreed to a two-to-three-hour interview.
