Publisher's summary
In this book, the author, Niall Moseley, has collected all the scientific research from around the globe on diets and eating habits. He has critically analyzed the study's methods and outcomes using his medical science expertise and deep knowledge of how the human body functions. He has compounded all this knowledge on diets into this relatively short book and has explained all the science in a way that is understandable to everyone, allowing listeners of this book to become scientific experts to the level of a medical scientist when it comes to anything diet related. The author's main aim is that he wants to help the population get to a level where we understand exactly how our diets physiologically interact with our bodies in both positive and negative ways. No longer do we have to be unsure whether fish, fruits, eggs, beef, chicken, and many other foods are good or bad for us.
Having this knowledge would enable us to combat our biggest killer today, which are diet-related diseases caused by poor eating habits throughout a lifetime. These diseases are killing us and our loved ones more than ever before throughout history. These are mainly heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. However, others are also mentioned inside such as atherosclerosis and hyperglycemia. All of which is explained in simple terms by the author so that the listener can gain valuable knowledge on diet, to an expert level. Not only can we reduce the mortality rates of us and our loved ones using the expert knowledge in this book, but we can also use the research on weight loss to devise the ultimate best diet for weight loss.
Niall Moseley covers all parts of diet for health and weight loss. His research spans from the biggest picture to the smallest picture to ensure everything is covered in this book. The author takes you from his research on the science of our species, through to the statistics on the health implications of cultural diet and right to the science of the nutrients in the food on your plate.
The author has also included his best three diets for both health and weight loss inside this book. Intermittent fasting and many famous diets such as the ketogenic diet, Atkins diet, vegan and vegetarian diets, as well as some lesser-known diets like the DASH diet are all put under fair and equivalent scrutiny in this book. Only the science will reveal the truths of which diets and eating habits are best for health and long-term sustainable weight loss, both of which are proven in this book to go hand in hand.
Finally, this book analyzes the good and bad and even sometimes biased methods of scientists around the world to come to an indisputable conclusion on dietary health and weight loss. Furthermore, the author makes some very interesting and new discoveries about our anatomy and eating habits through linking different pieces of literature cited in this book and using his own expertise gained from diet-related projects in his past. With zero biases, and only the urge to find the scientifically most irrefutable truth, there is nowhere else to look than inside this book when it comes to mastering diet for longevity and weight loss.

Highly informative
This book covers some of the major topics in weight loss and longevity. As a molecular biologist I felt that the boon was very well written. It not only encompasses a wide breadth of knowledge, it also explains it in a very easy to understand way that a layman could easily grasp it. More so, the information that is contained within this book is excellent and covers some of the breakthrough findings in health, nutrition and life extension. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.
