Heart and perspective opening
Tara’s writing and words are beautiful. She tells stories and touches my heart with her care, humility. I feel much more open to this life experience with this book.

I continue to replay the Audible version and it helps me navigate life.
I love Tara’s work. It keeps me grounded and open to life. This is a compilation of many of her messages. She goes into much more detail in her earlier works so if this is someone’s first time reading or listening to her they may not fully get the depth of her messages. It was like short vignettes that reminded me of her life-changing concepts. I enjoyed and still enjoy it very much. In the first part especially her voice sounded like she was not quite over a sore throat. As the audio book continues her voice sounds more like her usual voice.

Tara delivers the gold
This is a lovely book with short meditations built in to help awaken the heart. The chapters are short, which make it easier to contemplate and focus on the theme Tara evokes.
The encouragement to find the gold within ourselves and in others can't be shared enough in a culture where so much conspires to make us hate ourselves.
I have all of Tara's books, as she is truly one of the best and most inspiring insight meditation teachers.
Highly recommend -- especially for stressed-out truth seekers short on time.

Gem for the Heart-Mind
This book is deep and oh so sweet. I have it in print and audio. I love both formats. The music that accompanies the audiobook is as calming and lovely as the illustrations are in the print book. Tara Brach’s warm and gentle voice definitely enriches the impact of her words. On my second time listening, I listened a little bit at a time, pausing to reflect and meditate along the way. Next time, and there will be a next time, I will sit down with my journal, listen a bit, reflect and write. There is a lifetime of gold in this little book that I trust. ❤️🙏🏻

Returning home
The recording of this beautiful book was excellent. The authors voice soothing me into total relaxation , the likes of which comes with as a gentle reminder of that which we all know and have somehow have forgotten. A homecoming of the very best kind. Thank you Tara
