About this listen

Atticus O’Sullivan is back in an all-new, action-packed, laugh-out-loud novella from the author of The Iron Druid Chronicles.

Two-thousand-year-old Atticus may have outwitted and outfought everyone from Odin to Bacchus, but in this eBook original, he’s about to discover what comes around when you go around messing with gods.

Six years into the training of his beautiful apprentice, Granuaile, a large crow swoops down and transforms into none other than the Morrigan, a goddess who insists that Atticus come with her at once. He must leave his apprentice behind, along with his Irish wolfhound, Oberon - and he must also leave his sword. The Morrigan has always taken extreme pleasure in pronouncing the Druid’s mortal danger and imminent doom, so the fact that she won’t reveal the purpose of their journey makes him very nervous. Of course, any time the Celtic Chooser of the Slain drops in unannounced, it’s never good. When she does let slip that she’ll be saving his life in the near future, Atticus is left to wonder...will he soon be giving his legions of enemies something to crow about?

I like it but....

If I didn't like this series so much I would have felt I over paid. It was way too short, honestly if it weren't for book 5 being out I would whine more. There was a few good parts but I felt it was just a little slow. by the time it started really getting interesting it was over. ARG! After I read book 5 I will re-review this book and see whether the added information here was that important. I also thought that Luke was reading a little slow in the beginning, like he just woke up. It was still good.... hmmm yaaa...ahh Mostly. :)

Don't dis-me I gave it 5 stars... :)

Atticus rides!

Have you listened to any of Luke Daniels’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Luke Daniels just keeps getting better and better. He's an AMAZING narrator and totally brings these books to life for me. This is the only series where I make a point of buying both the text and audio versions of the book and Luke Daniels is the reason.

Short but no less diminished

Wise choice in keeping this separate. It deserves its own telling :) no worry about keeping up with all the different side stories.

Could not turn it off.

What did you love best about Two Ravens and One Crow?

I loved the jokes, from oberon, the voice actor brings that dog alive.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Two Ravens and One Crow?

When oberon says he is out of dog treats.

Which character – as performed by Luke Daniels – was your favorite?

Oberon, by far my favorite character.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed at quite a few parts.

Any additional comments?

The story of this series seems to be moving in a disturbingly more raunchy direction. Hopefully this trend does not continue.

Not required for the next book, but it helps

This is a short story set between "Tricked" (Book 4) and "Trapped" (Book 5). Its an easy listen without a lot of storyline development. There is a brief mention of the events in this story in the next book.
If you're a fan of the Iron Druid Series, by all means get it. I did while waiting anxiously for the next installment. It was a good listen.

Good solid fun

Any additional comments?

This series is a highly entertaining, tongue-in-cheek adventure of a modern-day druid. The back and forth dialogue between him and his dog are especially humorous, and the action is paced well. I'd recommend this for a lighter audience, as the books are fairly short.
