This uniquely practical parenting audiobook for raising teenagers in today's world is grounded in evidence-based psychology, exploring the science at work during this period of child development and showing how your behavior and response as a parent has never been more important.
Taking more than 100 everyday scenarios, the audiobook tackles real-world situations head-on, from what to do when your teenager slams their bedroom door in your face to how to handle concerns such as online safety and sex. You'll discover how you can create a supportive environment at home and what you can say and do to help your teenager manage whatever life brings.

The available parent of a teenager is open to discussion, offering advice and solutions but not insisting on them. He allows his child to make some mistakes, setting limits, primarily where health and safety are concerned. He never lectures - he is available but not controlling. EXCELLENT. Truly.
Such a fantastic guide to teenage parenting. Discusses soooo many issues …. School, bullying, tattoos, drugs, sex, vape, relationships, driving…. And so much more. So well and easy to listen. Excellent narration. I have a 16 year old boy and a 14 year old girl and all these issues couldn’t have been expressed better. I know I will be referring to it many times.
Thank you for the best parenting book that I have ever read.
