Such a huge lead up, all the army building, training montages, and speeches about how the worlds would be on their own during an invasion...

What a wasted chance at some epic army stuff. It could of been a real chance to show what all those points invested in the world and species were for, but all we get is a chapter or two of the keeper with godly incarnations wielding godly weapons just straight up curb stomping the enemy. all that build up and prep... for that battle scene? it was nearly 20 hours of keeper training scenes. 20 hour training montage for that weak ending.

I've come to terms that this series is an abandoned harem slice of life litrpg. So if you want the action scenes of monster hunter international, or the crunchy litrpg machinics of the land, or a serious attempt at making it a dark story full of struggle or strife then look elsewhere.

Take this series as what has been given already. It's a light hearted litrpg that keeps in it's lane and wants to stay there. Also the fact that it took all the gods and the keeper to defeat a comparable keepers troops is... a bad power dynamic.

the final battle...

I waited a while to pick these up as I wanted all of them before listening. It was well worth it. Our MC is learning and growing stronger he is finally understanding his powers and abilities more and is taking better advantage of this knowledge. I'm excited for the next book in the series.

Excellent

Nodded my head , shook my head. Shook her head. Nodded her head. A slight smile played on my/her lips. … THESE ARE SO SO OVER DONE. .. use some different material. Holy crap. WHAT IS A SMALL SMILE. WHAT IS A SMALL NOD .. either it’s the reader over pronouncing these particular phrases. Or the author is totally shit. .. but I like the story despite this over done BS. So I’ll finish the series. Because I like the story.

The head nod series

World Seed is how I first heard of this author and this series is just as entertaining as that one was. This already has more books to it though.

A solid addition to this world builder series

I enjoy the series, but does anyone know when he becomes the saint of healing when he gets the seven circles of key like healing and destruction? I know it’s probably before this book chapter 33. Does anyone know win? I think I fell asleep.

I quite enjoy this

So, ya know the whole build up to defending his world's? Well the actual defence was... boring. No armies of unified worlds, no leading his people to battle.. just.. Enemy is here, pew pew. He just gets lucky. They even point it out in the book like that's supposed to soften your disappointment. The final battle of the invasion was so boring I almost nodded off. It was frustrating because it had the elements to be a cool, interesting struggle that could unify his people. Instead it turned into a glorified game of wack-a-mole. The only people that participated in the defence, aside from the two towns that were attacked were the people in the citadel, and most of them were God carnations. There was exactly one mortal that helped. If he hadn't it would have been a far better book. I suspect they set his particular talent as a deus ex machina for later books. Can't solve a problem? Call a deck master and bam, solved. Seriously, this series had such potential, but just keeps falling flat at every turn.

Kinda lack luster
