So good - the 2nd time, 3rd time...

It's great to review the Taltos novels right after the Khaavren Romances. The Draegaran characters are much more fleshed out and familiar.

This is a guilty pleasure

Would you listen to Yendi again? Why?

no, because I know the ending, and the only reason to get through this is to figure out that little morsel.

Any additional comments?

This was an interesting second installment. I bought the first on sale, and followed up with this one. Its not my typical genre, but there is something about Vlad that I connect with. Maybe its his amorality? But, its a fun fantasy book.

Breathtaking

I'm above the moon with this series and cannot recommend it enough. It's a staple in anyone's fantasy fiction library, with pages I know I'll read to my children one day, as my father did for me.

The wait is over

Where does Yendi rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The audio production of this book was excellent. The narrators voice and temple fit well with the read of the actual book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Yendi?

I love when the reader switches to a dialog with his familiar.

What about Bernard Setaro Clark’s performance did you like?

Bernard Setaro Clark handles the different voices very well in a distinctive way so that you realize which character's perspective the writers was coming from.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes. I drive long distances and it kept me wanting to contiunue listening.

entertaining

I read thisbbooks some 10 years ago and it heavily inspired a Story that i wrote back then and was just published a year ago. you need to get used to the style this book is written in. it feels like a monologue and the narrator Has a tendency to meander from here to there. still there is this read thread, interwoven with irony and Wit, making it light and entertaining.

Great series, but bland narrator.

Bernard Setaro Clark, narration seemed pretty flat and emotionless most of the time. Otherwise, I really enjoyed listening to the book
