Story
Jim and his literal shoulder demon have survived, so far, by the skin of their teeth. After finding a long-abandoned starter village, Jim has begun the process of rebuilding his town. Unfortunately for our favorite adventurer, the threats he now faces are far more complicated than mere monsters. The poor Noob has to deal with angry townsfolk, trade negotiations, and a talking badger. With goblins and bandits also sniffing around, will Noobtown - I mean Windfall - survive?

Idiot MC and childish humor
Reviewed: 03-17-25
The entire series so far seems like it’s just there to highlight how stupid the MC is. You could tell me that a 4th grader wrote this series and it honestly wouldn’t surprise me. Constant poop, fart, and sex jokes. Save your credits.

After some unsettling news brought to them by an unexpected messenger, Prince Edgar fled the Raid Dungeon to hurry back to his kingdom, leaving Derek as the impromptu leader. Being concerned about his people on the outside, Derek chose to rule with an iron fist to finish the dungeon as soon as possible. This choice didn’t make him any friends, but he didn’t need any for it to work.

This is one of my favorite series, but the narrator’s voice is super whiny and uses of inflections at times that can be really annoying.

Very rushed, plot holes galore, and no focus
Reviewed: 12-29-24
I’ve loved this series and I love the introduction of the lil dragon. That being said, this book is a bit of a letdown. It feels really rushed, with characters jumping around all over the place which makes it feel like there’s very little focus and leads to plot holes like Frisha forgetting that Rez is the Raven. I hope the next book solves this issue.

Story
I used to be the greatest Earth Mage in my world. The head of the entire Order of Architects. But the older you get, the more you come to realize that at some point, you need to retire, so that you can have the chance to enjoy a peaceful life and to cede your place to the young, some of whom have already turned two thousand years old . . .So that's what I did. But I failed to account for one thing: during the course of my long life, I'd accumulated too many enemies, and they had decided to spoil my retirement. So they died along with me. And I hope their deaths were final. But mine was not!

Repetitive, contradicting, and poor narration.
Reviewed: 12-12-24
I will say that the story tries to do something new within the genre, but it fails due to the many contradictions within the story. I understand reminding the reader of certain plot points throughout the story, but this book constantly repeats itself which just sends the message that the reader is stupid. All of this is accompanied by terrible narration. The narrator doesn’t have much range and ends almost every sentence with way too much inflection.
If you can’t get this for less than $5 then I highly recommend waiting.

Story
Morgan used to be a pretty normal guy. He went to college by day and played online games by night, leading his guild into new conquests - until he got hit by a car and a dude wearing a wet suit appeared in front of him. The man offered him a new chance at life in a world he had created, a world with similar rules to the games Morgan loved to play. There is the promise of great rewards and power, he says, if Morgan manages to complete the Tower of Power.

Terrible series matched with terrible production.
Reviewed: 10-14-24
I was excited for mixed narration at first, but the bellends that produced it decided to have both narrators narrate the same characters. It makes no sense and is just lazy. If you’re going to give a character a voice then have them maintain that voice. Seems pretty obvious to me.
Save your credit/money. My regret is that I spent actual money on this so I can’t exchange it.

Fight, survive, adapt, and rely only on yourself. That is Derek’s creed and what's got him through the System Integration on Earth. Everything changed when the System came. Cute bunnies and beautiful butterflies became savage killing machines. Then the Invaders arrived with a single goal: to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet. War has raged ever since. None of this mattered much to Derek, aside from making living a little more perilous.

This review covers the entire series.
The story itself is enjoyable and I like the new take on getting isekai’d from a newly integrated world to another while maintaining previous abilities.
This series is one of my favorites, but the narration and some continuity errors later hurt the overall rating. The narrator’s voices for kids and some women are just way too whiny.

Quality of narration equipment is lacking.
Reviewed: 08-17-24
The narration itself isn’t bad, but the equipment they used or the editing is definitely not the best. It’s quieter than other audiobooks and the S sounds are punctuated. I’m still working my way through the book so I’ll update as I go. So far the story is alright, but is very slow.

Just kinda dragged on for me.
Reviewed: 05-12-24
I was really excited to finally find an audiobook that sent the MC back in time with his memories. Unfortunately the execution was just poorly done all around. The narrator also wasn’t the best. At times it sounded like he’d change voices in the middle of doing the same character or narration and don’t get me started on his female voices.
