About this listen

The exciting conclusion to Across Time! Separated from Henri by 20 years, Amelie discovers that what she thought was a weakness may be her greatest strength, and that nothing about her family and her gift is what it seemed. Now, with war on the horizon and a challenge she never saw coming, Amelie will learn what the prophecy really means for them—herself most of all.

So so good

The torture I went through waiting to get my greedy little hands on this book was unbearable. I didn’t just want Across Eternity, I needed it! I needed to know what happened next after that blasted cliffhanger in Across time.

This book gutted me. It is one hell of an emotional rollercoaster that had me balling my eyes out. But that HEA ending is amazing and so worth all the heartache. Beautiful love story and so worth the read.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

This one definitely had more angst as it was set against an active WWII backdrop but it was an epic love story nonetheless

This series was phenomenal

I don’t know what to do now, to find another series with time travel and star crossed lovers as good as this one seems impossible.

What an Incredible Series

This is the last book in the Parallel series & the epic conclusion to the Across Time duet. Wow what a series. It’s one of my favorite series. First the narration. Done in duet style, Samantha Brentmoor & Shane East deliver a masterpiece with this story. Samantha was perfection. Not just in this book but the series as whole. The way she performed Sara’s conflicting emotions & passion just drew me in. Shane was so captivating as Henri. He brought Henri’s protective side & his emotions and had me enthralled with his narration.
I can’t say enough great things about Elizabeth’s writing. The angst, emotions, & heartbreak was so beautifully done. She takes you on a ride full of hope, love, and twist and turns. The way she spins the time traveling is so extraordinary. I have never read anything like it before or after. I thoroughly recommend listening/reading to this whole series. You would be forever changed.

Non stop action had me hooked!

“𝙃𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝, 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙛. 𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙞𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙮𝙚𝙩.”

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! *breathe*

What a ride! Constant action, constant peril for our beloved characters, so many tears…

I loved this duet so so much, and the audiobooks were absolutely amazing!

Now, would I recommend you read the first duet (Books 1 & 2/𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘭 & 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘵) first? Maybe? After reading reviews, I now see the tie in, and I personally cannot wait to go back and learn about those characters. But really, I had no problem figuring out the world and “magic” system.

Audiobook notes: Another fantastic duet narration production! Samantha Brentmoor had me feeling ALL the emotions, and I’m sorry, but Shane East had the most adorable “little boy” voices. 😂

Thank you to Elizabeth O’Roark and @valentine_pr_ for providing me a gifted copy of this audiobook. All opinions are my own.

What this book is giving:

Such a wild ride

I don’t know that I can actually put into words my thoughts on this book. 😂 It was so dang good!! There was drama, angst, time travel, suspense, mystery, and more. I was honestly on the edge of my seat until the very end wondering how in the heck the story was going to end!!! Amelie and Henri are so complicated and I just loved getting to see them figure out some really stressful situations together. All of the side characters felt important to the story, which made me so much more invested. The audio was phenomenal! I honestly think that the audio made me enjoy this story so much more. I also really liked seeing how Amelie and Henri’s story wove into the first duet of the series. For me, this duet was the stronger of the two, but I did the first duet with my eyes so I may be biased. So glad I finally finished this series because it was very good and a unique spin on some sci-fi romance with the time travel.

Wow! Just wow!

I love this series and I was a bit worried that I wouldn't like the ending because I had read some reviews but this last book was amazing. I couldn't stop listening and I like that they explained so many things that were left up in the air from the first two books. Samantha and Shane were amazing narrators.

Impressive Story & Narration🎧Moving & Mesmerizing

Elle O’Roark blows me away with this exciting and emotionally moving conclusion to Amelie and Henri’s story which began in “Across Time”, a not to be missed story and start to this duet. The ending of that book left you wanting more, or more like needing more, wanting to know what happened when they traveled back in time to 1918, trying to find Marie and Henri’s mother and learn what happened. Once there, they do not get very far and they quickly learn they fell in the same trap as her mother and Amelie’s aunt and it is all evil. Amelie, aka Sarah, wants nothing more than getting back to Henri in 1938, which is made even more difficult because of her circumstances, but she does not give up and gets help from another time traveler. More pieces of the puzzle fall into place regarding the prophecy and their goal to make sure all goes as it should, though there are some who are trying to stop it. 1918 changed Amelie in ways she never would have imagined and when she finally makes it back to 1938, everything is heartbreakingly different and despite having plans, nothing went accordingly. There are so many layers to this story, an intriguing and cleverly plotted story that has lots of drama, angst, twists and turns, action, thrilling and suspenseful moments, gut wrenching moments, heartfelt emotions, and a timeless and meant to be romance that was tested through the times. Elle O’Roark, thank you for another amazing story, an unforgettable story that will stay with me for a very long time.

🎧📚🎧  Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East continue to deliver an outstanding performance, bringing these characters to life, humanizing them with their voices and personalities. Ms. Brentmoor versatility and talent truly shine in every role, especially as Amelie, showcasing her personality, her fierceness perfectly. East is equally amazing as Henri, as well as several side characters, which they both nailed, accents included. They set the right tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their performance elevates the already amazing story to another level.
