About this listen

Dross isn’t like everyone else.

He’s not an NPC and he’s not a player. If he dies in the game, that’s it.

Although he doesn’t know where he came from, he knows what his purpose is. He must somehow find and kill a mysterious enemy known only as the Rival.

As he pieces together the nature of his existence and ventures through dangerous realms, he is confronted by three quests that will inevitably lead to the most dangerous place of all—a place called the Reality.

I was very impressed with the writing and the continuity from book to book. Your characters were never boring.
Very well done.
The Narrator kept every character separate and alive. He is my favorite narrator so far.

You always kept us guessing.

Howdy folks. Just wanted to give an update that the chapter 135 review helped a ton. We were able to get the correct file loaded! Thanks for the heads up! Enjoy!

Chapter 135 accidentally repeated 125, leaving a hole at a crucial point in the story.
The voice acting was superb.
The story was decent... clearly OD&D inspired, but also a little predictable. the format of the game-driven inner dialogs was unique, but may not be for some.
I appreciated the different take on morality and character development.
Overall, it was worth the listen.

It was the rpg-book equivalent of the movie 'crank'.
