Interesting and Informative
The entire book is about juicing, but the author doesn’t detail the mechanics of how to juice, just what to juice. There are so many good things to know about juicing that she left out. Like which kind of machines work best, or when during the day would be ideal to drink juice. Or that it’s very important to try to mix saliva while drinking juice rather than chugging it.
There must have been 100 shoulds in the book. There has to be a better word because so many shoulds sounds preachy. I already juice, yet I was not moved to change what I’m doing.
The narrator was good but she has a lilting voice that sounds almost mechanical.
I would recommend this book to someone who is knowledgeable and looking for more resources. Not to someone I’d like to tempt into changing their dietary habits.
Disclaimer… I’m wondering if this book would be better not as an audio. It’s too easy to miss words and sections while listening rather than reading, as this is a short, dense, almost reference type of book.

Good info, annoying reader
It’s like she heard varying rate and pitch is good and ran with it, without having a clue how to effectively use these tools. Also, had some weird pronunciations, such as “floor its” for broccoli florets. Lastly, the website wasn’t spelled out, nor was it repeated, so that took a bit of rewinding and guesswork to get to the correct site.

Marta made some excellent points on juicing veggies adding the nutritional component.
My personal experience with blending asparagus stocks resulted in a lot of fiber that I had to strain. I found eating the whole veggie to be easier. Dr. Rashmi Gupta
