Siim blows me away with his enthusiasm for health. At such a young age he is “killin’ it”! His explanations of the SCIENCE, his ability to dumb down the physiological processes, his passion for empowered daily choices ALL combined in one book!

What I liked about this book is the detailed information on all aspects of health and fitness and diet. Cutting edge science and research involved with health span and lifespan. He listed the many sources of health problems which basically are all from inflammation in your body and typically it’s what you eat that induces most disease. He even suggested the best test is CRP test you can have your Dr order to determine your inflammation levels.

This really was one of the best health books I’ve read in a long time. Mr. Land put an enormous amount of work into this obviously and you will learn a lot by reading this book. If you’re interested in longevity, fitness, food and wellness, and have the patience to work through a significant amount of scientific analysis you will not be disappointed.

It would take dozens of other books and websites to combine this information. If you want to get to the nitty gritty of autophagy, health, longevity; This is the book.

Very well researched. Credible. Much too much medical jargon for normal folks. I learned a lot but the book would be more useful without so much meaningless (to me) medical terminology.

I come to Siim's book after seeing many of his youtube videos. Much of what he talks about in his videos he goes over in detail in his book. Reading his book on the computer gives me access to words i need to understand the science he talks about. Plus he is teaching you how to understand the science like mTOR and AMPK... building up the body and taking out the trash during autophagy are key topics. SIIM also goes into in detail how to workout to build muscle safely while doing different kinds of IF (intermittent fasting) He answered many of my questions on how hard i can work out and helped me form a better plan with IF and hard style kung fu workouts. Thanks Siim!!
