Confession of a Pastor
I have been on a journey looking for a better way to manage my diabetes. A little over a year ago I found Dr. Bosworth in my hometown. What I have learned about Annette is that she is person of deep faith and has a genuine love for people. Her book Ketocontinuum is an incredible mix of story telling and medical knowledge.
My Confession:
I have struggled with carb addiction for over 50 years. At one point I would eat a 1/2 gallon of ice cream and a box of cookies every night. Ultimately the people who read her book learn about the importance of community while making a life style change that has helped me control my diabetes and change my health. I no longer take insulin.
The opposite of addiction is not sobriety it’s community. I am the recovery pastor at my church.

Finally a book that simply explains the whole ketone process!
Dr. Boz is amazing! Her 12 step guide to the ketogenic lifestyle was so clear and understandable...easy to follow. The pdf files in the audio version really showed how our bodies react to insulin and a host of other hormones. I would recommend this book to anyone who has a weight problem, diabetes,arthritis, cancer, ms and a host of other metabolic diseases. Baby steps is the key.

Love the book!
Two months ago I reached out to my doctor for help me to lose the weight and found out that I was on a three month waiting list to get into the weight loss program. I could not afford to wait three more months, I was lost in the mist . My brother recommended watching your videos on YouTube , which led me to buy this book on Audible, I like to listen to books as I work.
All my life I was told to eat this and not that, with no explanation on why? It never made sense to me and finally you came in to my life and explained how the body reacts to foods that we consume and then POW I started to understand as well as it was easy to follow . In two months I've lost 37 pounds , went to the doctor last Wednesday and she was amazed about my labs, when I showed her my daily numbers and she took pictures for her records. Needless to say I have a long ways to go to achieve my goals, but checking my numbers everyday keeps me on track.
This book is my first choice to listen in my Audible library now and as I listen to David's story I can pinpoint my progress in his story . This motivates me to keep going.
Thank you so much for sharing this life saving life experience.
PS: My Dad use to say " We are what we eat " and you have proving that statement to me. Hope to meet you one day to thank you in person.

Heartbreaking to here her relay Grandma 🌹 passing. A new soul in Glory though.

I learned a lot - and I'm long-term keto!
I have watched countless keto & carnivore videos, listened to podcasts and I'm a member of multiple FB groups, so I was a bit skeptical that this book would give me anything new. It did!
A problem with FB groups and videos is that everyone says, "more fat," "more protein," "fast as long as possible," etc, but the advice is often contradictory because of everyone individual circumstances. Dr. Boz explains when and why. She also explains test results and how sometimes the results don't look good, but they are actually showing progress.
Dr. Boz gave me the answers that I've been looking for for a long time. She presents all the information as a story to give it context, then explains the science behind it. After listening to the audio book, I decided to also but the paperback as a reference book.
I also like that she read the book herself. She brings her humanity and personality to the book,

A must read to heal your body and mind
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Dr. Boz explains every concept in detail, in terms we non-medical professionals can understand. She is an amazing teacher and makes it very entertaining to listen to.
